My Chemical Romance Want Nothing To Do With New Moon!

After covering Bob Dylan's Desolation Row for the upcoming Watchman film, My Chemical Romance are thinking about scoring films on the side - but not the Twilight sequel!
"We're very choosy… There were a few films that we didn't do the song for because it didn't fit. I guess a lot of people would say that a vampire movie would fit, but I would disagree with that these days… I don't know if we'd be interested in that," explained MCR frontman Gerard Way when asked about scoring New Moon.

I liked their cover of Desolation Road, you can get it on itunes from the Watchmen Soundtrack. They were just interviewed by MTV and they said they'd love to do a song or have an old son in the New Moon Soundtrack.

i have read the books (after i saw twilight) - and i think the film is better.. buut new moon was/is a really great book, though all those wolves are a little annoying.. and i like the OST - so, i guess - bad for them, cause there are films that suck with OSTs that are fabulous or with even songs which are - but to be honest - i'm really glad they decided no to be emovampires.

There's no character development at all, and the protaganist, Bella Swan, would die without Edward, which leaves some of us to believe that she may, in fact, be a zombie due to the fact that she probably died sometime before the story even took place (thanks to her knack for falling in front of cars and other bullshit).
This book is so bad that I actually couldn't stomach to read it. I read more of Jane Austen than I did of Twilight. And I hate Jane Austen.
