Just because he was a good artist doesn't make him have psychological depth.
His ideas about life are not very interesting.
Warhol was much smarter and funnier than people knew, but he spoiled it by going a little too far from bohemian to crazy.

This is to those posters who suggested that I read Andy Warhol's book of observations:
I think this is an age issue. I am older now than Andy Warhol was when he died. Looking at his writing from the standpoint of a person my age, I do not find it profound, or even interesting.
However, I believe I would have felt differently in my twenties or thirties. As a young person, I was in awe of him. As I got older, I was less impressed.
Andy is the GOD of Popular Culture. Period.
Noone will ever come close to his Magnificence and Godliness.
Perez… you and the Paparazzi Scumbags wouldn't even exist today if it wasn't for Andy Warhol. Bow down to Andy daily and give thanks for what he has given you.
