The Jonai Disappoint At The Box Office - Big Time!

Who would have guessed????
Even with promised "surprise personal appearances" by the JoBros at random screenings, their 3-D film "experience" tanked big time this weekend!!!
The 3-D Concert Experience brought in nowhere near the projected $30-$40 million. In the end, it only earning Disney an estimated $12.7 million dollars in the U.S. Box Office!
How embarassing!!
Slutty Cyrus' Hannah Montana 3-D earned almost three times that amount in it's opening weekend - and it was in about half as many theaters!
And, to add insult to injury, the Jonai failed to grab the #1 spot at the Box Office. Tyler Perry's Medea film is #1 yet again.

Aww, that sucks!
It was because of those damn ticket prices. Me and my sister tried to go, but it was $30 bucks for two tickets! So dumb, and I love JB.

I took my sister to see the Miley cyrus 3D movie when it came out, and I also took her this friday to see the Jonas Brother 3D movie. I'm not a big fan of either one of these people, but i must say that the Jonas Brother movie was horrible. They cannot sing well live AT ALL. I really prefrerred the Miley Cyrus movie, she has more talent…and the movie was more entertaining.

I guess they are re-thinking what they said to Bawa Wawa about their "fans growing with them" and them being "around forever" haha serves the Jonas Brothers right..
There is four main reasons that they didn't make as much money as miley and because we are in a gobal recession is not one because howcome my bloody valentine did so well
1. It was a amied at tweens,kids and teens and they don't have money to pay(even dough i have thew same pocket money i had last year this year)
2. It wasn't that original they had done soemthing someone had done before
3. Miley's tickets for the tour were alot harder to get hold off so people went to see the 3d concert but jonas tour not so hard
4. Miley 3d movie was only 1 week(thats what people thought ) so they wanted to get in it quickly but people knew that the jonas brothers movie was going to be out for more than 1 week
It was not because it wasn't good it was brill just the reasons above and plus perez please look in the dictionary once in a while it might grow that pea you call a brain

The movie was amazing. I can't believe it was nubmer 2 at the box office!! I almost cried! I've already seen it twice, and im going to see it in Imax this week!!!

they made 12.7 million in the boxoffice only becuase everyone pre-ordered it online. they made 12.7 with boxoffice and they made like 35 million from pre-orders.
its cause they had so many adds telling people to pre order.
As a teacher I find it very much like child abuse for you to call Miley a slut. She is a child. You need to have boundries when it comes to children - all of these celebrity children. Period. I would be fired for doing such a thing - as well I should.

They need to just admit defeat and live the rest of their lives out. Ya know get married and lose their virginity and what not. They keep producing the same stuff and people are clearly starting to become less interested.

Yeah, I agree…they did overpromote the movie and it was a big turn off. I blame their dad. Seriously…whenever they were doing their chat, I think they just wanted to talk to their fans and have fun and you could hear their dad in the back telling them to talk about the movie. They should fire their dad as their manager…he's going to RUIN them.

of course people didn't go watch this movie. only teenage girls went to go see it and we already saw half of it during their promotion.
this didn't count the $22 million dollars made in presales.
so, actually, they made $34 million dollars, topping both Madea and Hannah.
but presales don't count in opening weekend–lame.
yeah what a let down for these guys. they are too full of themselves anyways and needed this kick to their egos.
but they did say that it will be in theaters more than a week, whereas with Miley's everyone thought it would be for only a week. most people online said they were waiting til later to see it. I did see it with my cousin and it was better than Miley's (which I saw on Disney), more behind the scenes stuff!
true, ticket prices were like $8 back for Miley, but now they have all shot up to $15-$18 most places, people dont have the money to waste, I mean if you look at numbers now, 5th place movies a year ago were making double what first okace movies are making now, nobody is going out anywhere nowadays, especially since half of America is unemployed now and the only thing that has gone down in price is gas.

Wrong, Mileys tickets were $15, even a year ago. I do agree that the whole one week only thing helped her make a lot the first week.

I know they didn't get what they expected BUT how was this a big time failure? They're number 2!??!! That's great. It may not be number 1 but it's close. They should be grateful for that and people shouldn't be complaining because I don't see YOUR movie on the top of the box office list. Or on the bottom. Or anywhere on that god damn list.
