Rihanna's Reps Speak! Did She and Chris Beat Her Down Get Engaged or Married?????

The tabloids are insisting that Rihanna and Chris Beat Her Down are engaged, or even worse, already married.
The dastardly deed reportedly happened while the on-again couple was in Miami together last weekend.
In search for the truth, we reached out to RiRi's publicists at Rubenstein PR.
This is the response we got back from one of her reps about the wedding/engagement reports:
"Sorry for the delayed response, but we aren’t able to offer anything right now but will keep you in posted if that changes.
WTF is that supposed to mean?
Why would they NOT deny that???
Maybe this is the reason why Rihanna doesn't want to call home.
Maybe her reps just haven't been able to get ahold of her too???

In dysfunctional relationships, there is something called the 'Circle of Violence'. A violent act takes place, the victim retreats, the attacker turns on the charm or guilt, tells the victim they can't live without them, and it all starts again. Unfortunetely, women especially are programmed to be the mother/ nurturer and want to help/heal/make excuses for the man because he represents security and being the provider to some degree, even if the woman is independent. Often there is also extreme fear of reprocussion if the situation is discussed - how many times have you heard of a husband killing his wife and kids? It's in the news again today - it's just not a celebrity headline.
Instead of calling Rihanna stupid, people should be not only worried for her, but for all the women who go on for years silent about such abuse - those who don't have a public image or TMZ to care whether they live or die. Most of these women are confused, mentally abused, and unsure of what to do or who they can turn to. Their homes, families, and well being are threatened to severe degrees.
I hope we can all try to educate ourselves and have genuine compassion for people, rather than being part of the problem. If a girl fears being called "stupid" by her friends or peers, is she likely to find help?
