In case you haven't head of Jon and Kate Gosselin, they're the stars of TLC's most popular "reality" show, Jon & Kate Plus 8. The couple has one set of twins and one set of sextuplets.
John is the laid-back, quiet, pushover husband, while Kate is the bitchy, controlling, pain-in-the-ass wife. And that's putting it nicely.
Although the couple seem to have a "loving" relationship on the show, that might not really be the case when the cameras are off.
Jon said about filming the show that, “We’re having a good time — a blast," however it looks like he might have been embellishing a bit.
In Touch Weekly is reporting that Jon is spending increasing amounts of time in Huntingdon, Pa., near where his mom lives, three hours away from the home he shares with Kate and their eight children.
And, on February 6th, Jon showed up to a Juniata College house party.

“He walked in with two girls he met at Mimi’s bar,” senior Evan Heisman tells In Touch. “It was so cool.” According to witnesses, Jon played beer pong with some girls on the volleyball team and then joined a group of students who headed to Memories bar for a nightcap. “We were talking and chilling,” reveals Heisman. Jon returned to Memories the next evening. “He was obliterated,” says Pott. “Juniata girls were flirting with him and he was loving it and having a great time.” “We might be getting a divorce,” Chloe Pott, a junior at Juniata College, heard Jon tell her friend at Memories bar on February 7.

This has to be bullshit. I don't think Jon would ever do that. He loves his children, and he knows how hard it would be on them to divorce Kate. Not only does he loves his children, but we all know that he loves the money that he makes off of them.
1. I don't understand why you said "reality". It is a reality show. Kate wouldn't ever let it be a scripted show.
2. You're fucking stupid. You misspell things constantly, and it wouldn't be "Jon Plus 8 Minus Kate". It would be Kate Plus 8 Minus Jon, seeing as he's the one who is apparently straying.

I love this programme and especially like the relationship between Jon & Kate. I don't think she comes across as bitchy or a nag at all - in fact I think she is great. I struggle with my 3 children (including a set of twins!) somedays - I don't know how they cope and still manage to talk to each other xx
u can tell it was going to hit a wall whether it was a divorce or an affair but i only feel sorry for the kids! they dont deserve the drama! kates a bitch but she also has to hear 8 kids screaming all day but he also shouldnt let her get that way but hes a dad so he shouldnt be like partying cuz hes still married he should be taking care of the kids n maybe kate wouldnt be such a bitch lol

I'd just checked them out when I had some down time - I've watched the show, but there was a definite "turn" and I was curious to see who was paying the bills on these two & kids.

Here's the deal - Jon was fired, however before the kids were even born, he was telling co-workers he'd never have to work again.

Due to the IVF treatments, Kate was "over-ovulating" - no reputable Dr. at that point would have performed IVF as multiples would almost for certain result. BUT, upon hearing the news, Kate (ex-nurse — knew that that meant) somehow managed to get pregnant with the six babies. No definitive story as to how - not by the Dr. she had been seeing supposedly.

Notice how Kate complains about stuff not working — like her camera — that's just her way of getting freebies — and they do get freebie galore. Like the 1.3 million dollar house (that's a lot of house in semi-rural PA) - they didn't buy it, it was put into a trust for them.

I was wondering how long Jon would put up with being mis-treated by Kate. She is absolutely horrendous to him, berates and belittles him for the slightest mistake he might make with regards to caring for the kids. I think he's probably close to the breaking point and it's too bad, but Kate must be a nightmare to live with.
while I agree that Kate seems bitchy on the show….I know that having eight kids would not brig out my best side either. That said, this family had all of the babies because of their religious believes…..yet Jon is out flirting with college girls??? Just saying…anywho, hope they can keep it together!

I'm wondering if they've already agreed to divorce but are "staying" together for the sake of the show. Jon was awfully mellow in last week's episode, and they both seemed calmer and happier. I think the whole thing might be a charade and they just don't want to let go of the cash cow and the money they're raking in right now….and that could be why he went to the party since the marriage is over anyway.
Yea, I get the impression Kate likes the show a little better than Jon. Sucks for them though. I hope the kids aren't given a hard time because of this, divorce can fuck a family up!

Kate has also walked all over her preacher dad and mom. When they received donated cribs from the dad's church, she had a screaming fit because they did not match. When her parents told her that she should take the cribs and be grateful, she refused to see them anymore. This after they cared for the twins the entire time she was pregnant.

I really enjoy watching their show BUT Kate REALLY does nag alot and she is constantly criticizing him for being so laid back. She is a perfectionist/control freak to the max and I would not be surprised if things got sour between the two of them. She is too condesending to him.

OMG. This makes me sick to my stomach. I seriously hope that this is NOT TRUE. I love this show, and I love this family. They are always talking about how they will be together forever….man, this really shakes me up.
This story is 100000% true. I live like half an hour from Huntingdon(where JC college is) and my cousin is a junior at Juniata and she was at the house party and he really did say about getting a divorce and she said he was all over the girls. he has always seemed like he was never up for like 75 kids and he still acts like a kid himself. But without a doubt this is completely true. He was there giving a speech about the show and went out to the local bars afterwards.
I hope this is not true…..I love this show and I love Jon & Kate!! She is NOT a bitch, she just stays home with 6-8 kids everyday and gets overwhelmed and may have a short fuse at time times and may take it out on Jon. Lets see if any of you could stay home with 6-8 kids everyday and put on a happy smile everytime your husband/wife comes home….when Jon comes home its like a breath of fresh air!! Time for her now……

Gee, you didn't have a clue that the picture perfect relationship might not be picture perfect. I think when he told her on-air that she needed to take the 'stick' out, that was showing how he really felt about her. I only watch the show occasionally and find her obnoxious. She is loud, over-opinionated, always have to be right, condescending, bossy, rude, anal and demanding. These people hardly had time to get to know each other before they started having kids. You don't get that time back. Since then they have been in a house over-run with kids with little or no time to spend with each other. Something has to give at some point.
I knew something was going to happen sooner or later. If you watch that show in progression you can see that they are getting more and more distant. It's not about the "family" and "children" anymore for them…the show is a money machine and Kate has gone off the deep end. I understand that it's hard raising that many children but she doesn't need to be so mean to him. She does talk down to him A LOT. He is out of work (he doesn't have a "work from home job") and all he has are those kids and his nagging wife. No wonder he's gone and done this. Reality shows are recipes for disaster when it comes to marriages. Look at everyone who has had a reality series. They are all DIVORCED! They sold their souls when they signed on to do this. It's a shame. The only ones who are going to suffer now are those poor kids.

I find the Duggars, even with all their wacky religiousness, a breath of fresh air and if I was to raise my kids again I would def limit tv and computer access as I think exposure to media is debauching and ruining a whole generation of children. The Duggars are polite respectful and helpful and can amuse themselves with music, books, and other activities which is so refreshing to see nowadays so Jim Bob and Michelle must be doing something right.

If you watch one single episode of this show - it is very obvious that they can't stand each other! She is a horrible complaining B*&ch and he's the long-suffering husband. Even my 10-year old picks up that they hate each other. The kids are out of control too with their constant whining and crying. Another clue: The last episode, they conducted the couch interview separately.

I loooved this show when it first started, it was all about two people making it work and they seemed to really like one another and get a kick out of the kids…the money has definitely altered things. Notice there's no more Beth, Aunt Jodie, or all those people who helped them on the episodes anymore? It seems like Kate's alienated a lot of people in this process. Jon is only just over 30…its a lot to sacrifice to be a young dad of 8. that being said, he shouldnt be at BARS all the time either. i hope for their sake they can get to the heart of this issue and work it out, even if it means the cameras need to go off. oh, and Maddie is a disaster and they are creating a monster in that child!

OMG! I really hope they don't split up, it would be so sad for the kids not to mention difficult. Watching the show though you can kind of see what a bitch Kate can be.
