In case you haven't head of Jon and Kate Gosselin, they're the stars of TLC's most popular "reality" show, Jon & Kate Plus 8. The couple has one set of twins and one set of sextuplets.
John is the laid-back, quiet, pushover husband, while Kate is the bitchy, controlling, pain-in-the-ass wife. And that's putting it nicely.
Although the couple seem to have a "loving" relationship on the show, that might not really be the case when the cameras are off.
Jon said about filming the show that, “We’re having a good time — a blast," however it looks like he might have been embellishing a bit.
In Touch Weekly is reporting that Jon is spending increasing amounts of time in Huntingdon, Pa., near where his mom lives, three hours away from the home he shares with Kate and their eight children.
And, on February 6th, Jon showed up to a Juniata College house party.

“He walked in with two girls he met at Mimi’s bar,” senior Evan Heisman tells In Touch. “It was so cool.” According to witnesses, Jon played beer pong with some girls on the volleyball team and then joined a group of students who headed to Memories bar for a nightcap. “We were talking and chilling,” reveals Heisman. Jon returned to Memories the next evening. “He was obliterated,” says Pott. “Juniata girls were flirting with him and he was loving it and having a great time.” “We might be getting a divorce,” Chloe Pott, a junior at Juniata College, heard Jon tell her friend at Memories bar on February 7.
Kate is gonna lose her shit!
Wonder if they'll mention any of this on their "reality" show, soon to be titled Jon Plus 8 Minus Kate.
Umm yeah it was a matter of time. Jon is wayy to nice and good for Kate. I hate her so much. I love the show but when she talks I wanna shoot myself. She is just too mean to him and you can tell it hurts him.
I've always called the show JOn + 8.
According to some people from Huntingdon PA, Jon has been staying with his Mom since Feb. 2. People who have met him are saying that Jon is telling people that they have separated and getting a divorce after their TLC 1 year contract is over.
There are also people from around the area who claims that Kate is the one who started the cheating with her Trainer.
Listen, I'm surethe stress is huge, and most couples fight — I'm just very put off by the fact that althought they already get $70,000 PER show, and tons and tons of free stuff — Jon & Kate still leave the kids behind for days at a time to go BEG money from churches.

So, they are not too worried about leaving the kids behind, and thought they have been given literally millions of dollars worth of freebie, they are still preying on (supposedly) elderly church attendees - asking for "love donations" - which must be cash only.

THAT is what my problem is with them. The "scam" factor.
You try pushing out 8 kids out of your vagina and see if you wont become a bitch!!! Maybe she is a nag or a bitch but she spends all day everyday with those kids. All Jon does is work, granted he brings home the bacon but still its alot of fucking work for a mom. If you've seen the show, whenever he takes over he's a wreck. Cut her some slack, and remember its easier to wonder away from reality than just to face it.
Have you seen the photo of Jon they are talking about - he is, without a doubt, wasted. If I was him, I would be, too.

i never watched this show. this must be the woman octomom modeled herself after. she probably felt that this family got alot of attention and all, well, the moral of the story is, kids are tough to raise, ESPECIALLY 8! we arent meant to hold a litter of babies, but yes, it does happen. how come no one commented about octomom?

The rest of Jon's life is DOOMED if he doesn't leave. It's got to be a living hell for him with Kate - not his kids. If they get divorced there's no way he will not stay in his kids' lives. I used to like Jon, but if these stories are true then I have lost a lot of respect for him. Yeah, Kate can be bitchy, but who wouldn't get uptight about certain things with 8 kids? If you don't have a little control even with 2 kids they go crazy. And their kids seem to be turning out to be good kids at that.
Even if having 8 children puts a strain on a marriage, that is no excuse to go out and party while Kate is with the kids. Even if they are having marriage troubles, you don't see Kate going out and getting drunk with college guys or acting younger than her age. Once you are a parent you assume responsibilities and he needs to grow up (if this story is true)

This is actually really sad. I think they should try to work it out. Keeping your family together is really important. Marriage is hard especially when you add 8 kids. And everyone should give Kate a break, she has it really tough. She has to take care of her kids and her husband (he doesn't do much to help!) She is a little controlling but it seems like she's been like that for a long time, he married her for a reason. He needs to step it up and play with the cards he's been dealt.

My mom is a HUGE fan of this show so I'm not going to tell her about this development (if its even true). Unfortunately I kind of agree with a lot of you guys, she does ego-whip him on camera a lot (I cringe whenever their on the couch together) - Not a lot of men who can just take an ego beating without acting out - it sounds like major passive aggression. Their marriage is strained by having so many kids. But I think hanging out with a bunch of college kids at his age (and with his responsibilities) is very immature. When he's got that many kids - he really needs to keep his shit together! I think they do the show because it's a way for them support their many kids - hopefully put them through college someday. I don't want to see him fuck that up.

So let's compare apples to apples, instead: my paternal grandmother had 11 kids, and her husband died when the youngest was two = so she did a lot of child rearing with a spouse around and a lot without. They were dirt poor (coal miners) so they obviously didn't have nannies/assistants/cooks, etc.
Well guess what? Ask any of the kids to this day (10 of the 11 turned out very very well, btw), and I can assure you that none of them remember her even raising her voice to them, let alone talking down to them or her husband (and HE was one who probably would have deserved it!).
Hell, even look at the kjooky mother of 8, who also has a sghow on TLC. A bitch is born that way - can't go blaming external forces for the way you (K.G.) responds to external stimuli. Own it, don't make excuses that it's "just the way it goes".

How is it that the fact that 8 kids (their ages, esp.) need to be supervised so that anything can be accomplished has flown so far over your head? I have only two kids, and I clearly remember being incredibly grateful when my husband would take the kids outside for a few hours so I could get some housework done, because I knew I was getting the easier job!

I don't believe this is true. In this day and age of camera phones someone would have gotten better pics than this to sell. He does look wasted in the pic but, the picture itself is pretty innocent - just a pic with fans as he claims. If someone got Phelps with a bong, I am sure one of the college kids would have gotten some pics to sell for the money. Since no others have surfaced I highly doubt the claims of these students.

I love this show. There was a time in which I was completely obsessed watching it but, Kate is soooooo horrible. She always treating Jon like her fucking slave and with disregard or respect at all. Everyone has this distorted view that you have to be devoted to your children 24/7, 365 days a year. Unfortunately, especially for men, it doesn't work like that. You don't have to give them constant attention but nagging at them - especially since he HAS taken responsibility for his children - doesn't help. He works and he's helped around the house. Hell, let's start with the fact that he married her ass! I think she needs to stop being a little selfish and pay a little attention to her husband. And um, college girls aren't all slutty. He was also spotted out in downtown Harrisburg, Pa at the bar Level II BY HIMSELF on Feb 21th!! He was pretty drunk and dancing with all kinds of women. People were trying to take his picture grinding with the women, but he would turn his head or duck at the last minute. There are a few photos, but not of quality.
