Octo-Mom Accepts Round-The-Clock Nannies!

There are lots of single mothers out there who struggle to make ends meet with just one child, but unemployed Nadya Suleman will be receiving a fleet of nannies to aid with the 14 children she decided to give birth to via in vitro fertilization.
Angels in Waiting will provide round-the-clock care for the Octo-Mom's litter. The organization specializes in helping new mothers care for their premature babies.
With the new babies nearing release from the hospital and Octo-Mom moving into a new home, Angels in Waiting - which estimates that it will cost $135,000 a month to care for the octuplets - will help prepare the house for their arrival.
At this point, Nariah weighs 3.5 lbs; Makai, 3.5 lbs; Jeremiah, 3.5 lbs; Jonah, 2.5; Josiah, 2.5 lbs; Noah, 4.5 lbs; Isaiah, 4.5 lbs; and Maliah, 4 lbs for a combined weight of 28.5 lbs - the weight of 3 healthy babies.
And while the premies' health is improving rapidly, Octo-Mom knows that they still face many obstacles such as "delayed walking and delayed speech, but that's where early intervention is key. It's really critical, and that's why I'm going to do what I can. That's also why I'll be getting a lot of help. The nannies that I'm going to use have already been trained to really work with them to decrease the probability of any of that happening."
As for the rest of Octo-Mom's litter, they don't seem to be taking the new additions too well. They are "externalizing their anger, internalizing it," Octo-Mom said, "They become more withdrawn and get a little more sad. One of my kids for a while, I noticed he didn't want to deal with the reality of what's going on. I noticed some tears coming down his face. I held him for 10 minutes, and he held me back and that's all he needed."
So let's see, you were pissed that your parents gave you no siblings and now your children are pissed that you gave them a million siblings.

But I think it is good that for the time being, she gets a place to live and round the clock help. Just for the kids' sake. after a year or so things can be seen more clearly but right now those kids need tending.

Who said babies weren't her "comodity". I told my husband lets start popping out a ton of babies, so we can ask for donations on a website, and get free nannies. I'd DIE to have a kitchen like that to cook in in a 1/2 million dollar home, instead of living within my means in my house with a small kitchen.
Oh wait..instead we were sensible and stopped at what we could afford…damn…guess we lost out on that huh..

i think delayed walking would be a blessing not an obsticle because as soon as all 8 babies learn to walk they are gonna walk right out her door and get lost and she will have to call the police AGAIN cuz she lost her kids………….I pray God protects them becasue she isnt gonna

You are such a jackass! The point is that now that those babies are getting closer to release it's not about HER anymore, it's about those babies. They are here, there is nothing that can be done about it. The BABIES deserve this type of care because what happens after that year runs out? Nadya has essentially a year to get her shit together, mainly for the 14 children that she will be left to take care of. I am not wishing failure on this woman because that would mean that the kids would suffer. They are the innocent victims in all this. So, grow up!

Of course she'll accept around the clock help - who else would watch the babies whilst she has her nails done and goes to the fast food outlets??

I think its madness she is even allowed to keep the children, all the children would have a better life if they were put in care and adopted. She is clearly an un reasponsible human being and isn't fit to be a parent. She needs help. The kids will get next to no attention. I really think she needs her head checked out! x

I hate this bitch so much! I have 2 kids then got diagnosed with MS. I have no fucking help and I struggle each and every day to take care of my kids. I ask for help and told too bad so sad and then I read about this nut bag and she gets all this shit for just being a freak.
Okay, can someone PLEASE esplain to me how someone who can't afford housing can affor in-vitro fertilization? Isn't that shit expensive? And aren't there like legititmate couple who cant afford that shiz?

Would you rather she can't cope on her own so we say 'aw well, her issue, fuck the kids' and let them die? Dealing with one premature kid is a lot of work, but eight of them? You can't take it out on them just because their mother is… whatever the hell she is.
I have two kids and I have no idea how you even begin to care for 14. I work my tail off 24-7 plus we are two parent family with a full-time nanny! With just one eight month old I never sleep. Lord help these children.

I feel horrible for all of her children. This woman is crazy. Its good that the babies will be getting the help that they need. I just hope they are all healthy and get the care that they need. And hopefully the mom gets a job or something. Its crazy the life that she is living.

Did you see the latest tmz vid. She gets chauffeured around like royalty and whines to her son, "Elija, come here nooooooooooooow", while she's on the cell phone. Instead of getting off the phone and getting her son, one of her fairy godmothers has to go out and fetch the boy. "Do Not Play with the Paparazzi!" hee hee
And taking away her babies would not be the best thing to do. How much love do those kids get when thier mom tosses them in a trash can or how many hugs do the kids get in a orphanage. The Orphanage close to here has lots of kids who never even had a kiss or a hug. At least she is willing to try. Seriouly in a orphanage, How many people are there to take care of them babies. 2 to 5. These kids will be alright when they are grown. I dont see yall yapping about the mother that has 1 kid and lets him/her starve while she is druggin it up. Come on AMERICA give this woman a break. And if you dont like her or totally against her, DONT read about her. I think what she done was wrong but its a bit past fretting about her reasons.
So that means then at least 6 of her kids will want to have only one child as opposed to many when they get older.

Please get it straight! They are not "nannies". They are highly specialized neonatal intensive care nurses. There is a difference. Go ahead and hate on Nayda, but the infants are high risk preemies and they need nursing care.
Here is the email I wrote to Angels In Waiting:
Dear Ms. Confroti and Peebles,
I am writing because I am infuriated to read reports that your organization is planning on providing nanny care for Ms. Suleman. I went to your site and was shocked to see that your mission deals with helping FOSTER CHILDREN, because last time I checked, Ms. Suleman's litter of children were in NO WAY FOSTER CHILDREN. Your organization should save your money to help forgotten foster children and the wonderful people who take them in. You should NOT waste your money on this idiot. $135,000 a month can help A LOT of deserving foster children.
I am sorry to say that since you obviously do not hold true to your mission (which I believe is a very admirable mission), I will make certain NEVER to donate to your organization. I refuse to give money to organizations who would waste money on Ms. Sulman. Yes, her children need help, however, that is something she should have thought about before deciding to have a litter. Since she went forward with the pregnancy, SHE needs to be held accountable and responsible for taking care of the children, not organizations who should instead use their money on more deserving families.
Re: kristen927 – She had settlement money from a worker's comp claim. Apparently that money has run out. Supposedly she mis-used student loans, also, but as far as I know that's just a rumor. She gets some state money, but not as much as people seem to think. She has exhausted her parents physically emotionally and financially now she is relying on donations — it will be interesting to see what happens when that well runs dry. Does anyone know what's up with Octo-gramdma? Will she be out on the street when her house is foreclosed on?
