Natasha Richardson Dies, According To Time Out New York

This is so horribly tragic!
Natasha Richardson has passed away after her fatal skiing accident in Canada on Monday.
Although public reports have not yet confirmed it, sources close to Richardson’s family and friends tell say they have already been told the awful news: she did not survived the accident, Time Out New York is reporting.
Such a devastating loss of a gifted actress at a young age. She was on a beginner slope! And, after the accident, she was said to be talking and walking.
So sad. So so sad.
Natasha was just 45 years old.
She is survived by her husband, actor Liam Neeson, and two adolescent sons, as well as mother Vanessa Redgrave and sister Joely Richardson.
Our thoughts go out to her entire family.

You announce Natasha Richardson was dead, I sit here with tears running down my face searching the web for more information, but there are NO REPORTS of her death!!! Every network talks about her injury but NO DEATH REPORTS!!!

about 20 minutes ago, Her wikipedia page was updated to state that she died, and now, it no longer states that she died. So, obviously there is some confusion. No one else is reporting that she passed away. I'm skeptical.

There are plenty of known cases where this has happened. People can also drown inside and not know. Alot of things can go on inside the body, with no outer signals. She probably thought it was just a small fall and nothing serious. It's so sudden, I really liked her too. Liz Smith says she was taken off life support around 1:30 today.
This is so very sad. Yes, skiing is a dangerous sport, but a helmet is not always a sure thing. It has been proven that people who wear helmets tend to be even MORE aggressive because they think that nothing will happen to them. I have been skiing for over 20 years and have never worn a helmet, but am very cautious of my surroundings! I personally would not take up the sport at the age of 45.
I'm utterly crushed by this. She was a wonderful actress, like her mum Vanessa - and I feel sad for her too, it must be aweful to outlive your kids. RIP Natasha and thanks for all.

That's horrible. It's kind of weird that she died on a beginner slope though. I go skiing in the rockies every year and I go on much more difficult slopes. I haven't fallen in years and I'm 14 years old! I guess it's time to tell people to wear helmets!
