Although the pronunciation is similar, we much rather prefer Ikhyd to Ickitt!

I do medical transcription for a large children's hospital, and believe, me, NOTHING would surprise me about a baby's name any more! I come across some of the ugliest most God-awful names you can imagine spelled in the weirdest way possible. They are spelled differently than they are pronounced, which is even stranger. I have a friend who works in birth records and she has even had mothers come in and say a name and when she asks them to spell it, they say, "I dont' know, I made it up". Lol Anyway, for what's it worth, I think the name is ugly.
I hope all these celebretards who give their innocent kids these names that is sure to get them either beaten up or at the least victim's of derision as they grow up and go to school in turn sue their asses for the pain they put them through. You like the name Ikhyd so much, then change your name to it and let the kid have yours, Benjamin. I bet Mowgli would switch names with Pete in a hearbeat.

Ikhyd is an alternative way of spelling Aqeed, an arabic name meaning "strong connection." I think it's a great name, with a great meaning.
