Madonna Unceremoniously Gives Her Nanny The Axe

Filed under: Madonna > Baby Blabber

wenn5202427david.jpg

Madonna's nanny - solely for adopted son David Banda - has been fired!

Angela, Madonna's Aussie caretaker had handed in her notice to Madge earlier this month, giving the Queen of Pop an appropriate time frame to find a replacement nanny.

Madonna wasn't having any of that shiz and fired Angela before her notice period was up!

"The rumor is that Madonna was furious that Angela was leaving and dismissed her before she had the chance to complete her full notice," an insider leaked of Madonna's bad business behavior.

How unprofessional!

"All Madonna’s employees work incredibly long hours, so it’s no surprise that Angela had had enough. If you work for Madonna you are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There’s no such thing as a weekend," the insider dished. Madonna is the HBIC of her household, no doubt.

Sources close to Madonna say that the firing of Angela was over the horrible timing of her departure. The mother-of-three has plans to adopt another child from Malawi in the upcoming months, so the announcement of Angela's leave set Her Madgesty off.

Lesson be learned, don't fuck with the big M!

That bitch needs to stop adopting babies she has no plans on taking care of.

  2. 102

Re: whack-a-mole – You are SO RIGHT! Bitch claims to be so spiritual but then continues to act like a spoiled 10 year old who had to control everybody and everything. Oh, that is so enlightened. LMAO!

If you want someone to $tick around, you make it worth their while.

  5. 105

What exactly is this gristly old hag doing that keeps people busy 24/7? Her CD's don't sell anymore and thankfully she isn't "acting" in anymore films. So she has the tour which will last 6 months. Who cares? She is a bitter, old wrinkled twat and she is just taking it out on her employees. She is no longer relevant, she knows it, and she hates it.

PS: Her teeth looks like a garden rake.

  6. 106

No Perez…lesson to be learned is don't work for a used up old whore with control issues. What a bitch she is! She doesn't deserve another child…she doesn't personally take care of the ones she has.
    .
What a horrible person Madonna is….and certainly not just because of this.

  7. 107

Has it occured to anyone that there might be GOOD and UNKNOWN (by the public) reasons why M fired the nanny?! Some of you might not like her for whatever odd reasons but she probably doesn't WANT the worst for her kids.

And even if she is a bitch who is deliberately out to needlessly sabotage everyone's life (unlikely, really…probably quite problematic being the most famous woman in the world) she's still the best at what she does.

It's a lovely coat, by the way.

  8. 108

Re: Bring Sheena Easton Back! – "So she has the tour which will last 6 months. Who cares?" - Ermmm…the 2,348,854 people who went to see it, probably.
    That's ignoring the sell-out extension.
All you people who are out of tune with Pop culture like to THINK Madonna is old news just because you think she SHOULD be, at 50. Cold hard fact is that she is selling better then ever.
As for CD sales…don't know if you noticed two things 1) The USA isn't the world and, 2) No one buys CDs anymore. No one's 'records' sell well. But she still has Number 1 singes…with every album…you fucktard!

  9. 109

Re: funnyandcute – "Put that kid down" OH MY GOD some of you are UNBELIEVEABLE. Does it not occur to you that to take these picutres there are about 20 guys running around "that kid" that do not give a fuck about anyone's safety because they just want to sell pictures.
So someone carrying their child autotomatically means they are 'treaing it like an acessory'…erm no…probably just trying to keep it safe in a wierd and very hectic environment like this! Utter spacklord!

    *
Tell that to the Jonas Brothers, Beyonce, or Taylor Swift….CD sales are down from previous years, but they're hardly "not selling" anymore. You might want to pick up a copy of Billboard magazine before you spew your pseudo-intellectual bullshit.
    *
"But she still has Number 1 singes…with every album…you fucktard! "
    *
Yeah, but of the ones this decade, who, other than her lame diehard fans, can name one or will remember any of them 10-20 years from now?

Right..like Madonna would ever turn down a chance at a photo-op.

  12. 112

madonna is a total skank….. i mean i used to love love love her but the older and the lack of being able to sale records she is off the deep end… like 4 years ago she fired her pilot because he refused to leave his family during christmas to fly her to london… the man was at the dinner table at christmas when she called…….. madonna is starting to remind me over betty davis in the movie whatever happened to baby jane?

    113

Was she not thinking as to why people give notices anyway? Its to help them FIND ANOTHER JOB AND HAVE TIME TO PLAN!

Either way Madonna is a big B

  14. 114

Madonna is the most successful, famous, richest, and most talked about female artist in history.

  15. 115

Re: charlie_a – "All you people who are out of tune with Pop culture" is what you wrote.

I am quite knowledgeable with "pop culture" actually and that's how I know that she hasn't had a number 1 song in the USA since "Music". Sounds like you are the one who isn't so knowledgeable. Your nelly brain seems to be ignorant to anything anti-Madonna. I don't give a shit how many homos bought tickets to see the "Sticky & Sweet" tour…it's the same one's who buy her tickets everytime she goes on tour. Big deal. It doesn't matter what her worldwide sales are (CD's OR downloads)…the US is the main market for sales, whether you like to admit it or not. And "Hard Candy" barely passed Gold status and produced only 1 hit single (thanks to Justin Timberlake and Timbaland). So before you call someone a "fucktard" you might want to check the facts asshole. You seem like a sad little gay boy with no job and no sex life. Maybe it's because you are morbidly obese with acne and you dress like an Easter egg. I know the type…we usually laugh at them as we drive home from the gym at night. Go fuck yourself.

  16. 116

Re: Bring Sheena Easton Back! – #117 Thanks for bringing that to light. I agree with you. Vadge isn't young anymore and I am sure it angers her. Too bad!! Ha-ha!

  17. 117

Re: @v@ – #106 Go suck on a door knob!

  18. 118

    Re: DanielDax
Congratulations. Your list of artists who sell well have mostly released albums/material in the past few months. It doesn't take a "pseudo-intellectual" to work out why THEY are good examples (note - I never claimed to be especially intellectual. You just deduced that from my ability to spell and think - an uncommon train amongst Perez reader, I'm sure you'd admit. Also- I hate to resort to bragging but I am not sure how many pseudo-intellectuals they let into Oxford).
Madonna has only ever had two multi-platinum singles 1) Vogue (early last decade) 2) 4 Minutes (early this decade).
You can't decide no one likes Madonna just because you don't. As for “10 - 20 from now”, who can say? I expect Madonna will still be famous. We’ll see how many people are getting down to Taylor fucking Swift! Be serious.
Your point that Madonna enjoys photo opportunities does not contradict anything I said about the probable need to not let a toddler wander around near a swarm of paps.

  19. 119

    Re: Bring Sheena Easton Back!
Thank you for your criticism but I am quite knowledgeable enough to know that Madonna hasn’t had a No. 1 in the USA since “Music” but, Christ, you sound bright enough to know that America is NOT the centre of the Universe. It may be the “main market for sales”, sure, but look at international sales figures and you’ll understand quite well that this is probably of little concern to Madonna.
No - the same people do NOT buy tickets every time she goes on tour. We can see this because the tours have got bigger (additional people).
So before you call someone an “asshole” you might want to check the facts, fucktard.
The weakness of your US-centric view is abundantly clear in your need to resort to personal insults. Seems fitting to respond to your points - yes I am gay, yes I am a boy. I work in Swarovski but it isn’t a real job I am actually a student, busy learning how to be cleverer then you. I weigh 9.5 stone which is a far cry from obese and probably because I go to the gym just like you.

  20. 120

"Also- I hate to resort to bragging but I am not sure how many pseudo-intellectuals they let into Oxford."
    *
I seriously doubt that. If you have to "brag" about it, it's probably not true.
    *
"You just deduced that from my ability to spell and think."
    *
No. I deduced you were an idiot from the numerous spelling errors and grammatical mistakes in your rants. Your comments were also void of any original thought. You're just regurgitating the same talking points every Madonna fan on here seem to make. I guess calling someone a "fucktard", however, gives you a false sense of being bitchy like your idol. I suggest you go back and reread your tired ass rants. The only pleasure I got from reading them was seeing how oblivious you are to how lame you sound.
    *
"You can't decide no one likes Madonna just because you don't."
    *
I didn't see anywhere in my post where I making that decision. I was merely pointing out her (lack of) relevancy in this decade. Not only can't you write, but reading comprehension isn't one of you best qualities, either.
    *
"We’ll see how many people are getting down to Taylor fucking Swift! Be serious."
    *
I never said anything about Taylor Swift's predicted longevity. You said "no one" buys records anymore; I merely pointed out people whom are selling, which contradicts your argument. I'm glad you caught on.

  21. 121

    Re: DanielDax
"The weakness of your US-centric view is abundantly clear in your need to resort to personal insults. "
    *
Right..because calling someone a fucktard because you don't like what they said is so much more classy.

  22. 122

Re: DanielDax – It is true. If you really cared I could give you my Oxford college email address and you could message it. If it were false then the email would bounce.
I could even identify myself by writing back, "I'm an idiot who loves irrelevant music", or something. Or I could send you a video on a student paper’s website of me being interviewed about the Oxford gay scene where I have to say which college I am at…which would match the email address).
I regurgitate the same points as other Madonna fans because they are true. Where is the scope for your prized ‘original thought’ in a petty fight about sales figures? The ‘original’ thing to do would be fabricate them and I am sure that wouldn’t go down too well.

  23. 123

" If you really cared I could give you my Oxford college email address and you could message it. If it were false then the email would bounce."*
    *
Trust me, I don't care. You're not worth the hassle. Again, if you have to go though so many lengthy paragraphs to prove…it's not true.
    *
"Where is the scope for your prized ‘original thought’ in a petty fight about sales figures? The ‘original’ thing to do would be fabricate them and I am sure that wouldn’t go down too well."
    *
Seeing that I have worked worked and studied the record and music industry for several decades, there is no need for me to fabricate figures. That's a lot more profound than being some gay boy working in in Swarovski. I already suggested you pick up a copy of Billboard or some other music publication, but that may be above your reading comprehension.

  24. 124

Re: charlie_a – #120 The difference between you and DanielDax, whomever he is, you have a high opinion of yourself, whereas DanielDax blogs the facts. I respect people outside of myself that have the correct facts. Re: DanielDax

Note: No one should be impressed with someone's college degree because logic, common sense and the ability to reason, is by far, infinitely more important.

  25. 125

Re: SeekTruth – I do not expect people to be impressed that I am an Oxford student. I just thought it would be an amusing thing to introduce in this dialogue that is now oh-so-speudo-intellectual.
By the way, Dax - if you consider my paragraphs 'lengthy' I am not sure that speaks too well of YOUR 'reading comprehension'. And I don't believe you have anything at all to do with the record industry.

  26. 126

    Re: charlie_a
" And I don't believe you have anything at all to do with the record industry."
    *
Of course you don't. You're going to take the high road and cop out because you know you're entering a territory that you know you can't win.
    *
"I just thought it would be an amusing thing to introduce in this dialogue that is now oh-so-speudo-intellectual."
    *
Well, you are right..it WAS amusing…amusing that you thought you could pull it off. Maybe you got in as a token minority or some other kind of student with "special" needs. That's the only way I could believe it.

  27. 127

No, Perez, the lesson to be learned here is not to work for the Crazy Bitch. It sounds like she drives away anyone who is ever part of her family!

  28. 128

Re: charlie_a – #127 I don't give a rat's ass if DanielDax has business with the record industry…his hardcore facts are key and I read them with a notion that I may learn something. As for you, I am not impressed with your intelligence; period, end of story. This particular website is for the obsessed whacked jobs who are star-struck; and, for the bloggers like DanielDax who take the time to set the record straight. Re: DanielDax

  29. 129

Re: charlie_a – #109 You are a total adulator. People that adore narcissistic creatures, on some level, are co-dependent. Not sure if you are aware of this dynamic despite your educational background and intelligence.

  30. 130

    Re: DanielDax

Calling someone a fucktard is a very general and light-hearted expression of my own frustration at certain things that have been said. It is NOT a personal insult, by any stretch of the imagination.
I am not ‘copping out’ of anything, Dex. I have just learnt from my elders and betters that if anyone has to mention something it is almost certainly not true and therefore I choose to view your claims of involvement with the industry as a desperate attempt to lend credibility to whatever point you were trying to make (back in the days when this was a row about Madonna rather then an exchange of anonymous hatred and homophobic slights).
Like I say, I am not copping out, but you refuse to investigate the proof that substantiates my ‘bragging’ and I am doing you exactly the same discourtesy.

  31. 131

Re: SeekTruth – Thank you for your interesting point about my being an adulator. I shall lend some thought to the matter.
Also, your idea that I have a 'high opinion of myself'…I think a VERY cursory glance over these recent comments would demonstrate that I am not alone. There are record label execs and suchlike out there, lest we forget!

  32. 132

"I have just learnt from my elders and betters that if anyone has to mention something it is almost certainly not true and therefore I choose to view your claims of involvement with the industry as a desperate attempt to lend credibility to whatever point you were trying to make."
    *
Um…I already brought that point up about "bragging." I'm glad you finally came to an agreement.
    *

    *
"Like I say, I am not copping out, but you refuse to investigate the proof that substantiates my ‘bragging’ and I am doing you exactly the same discourtesy."
    *
There is really no need to investigate. Your pitiful writing style has proven to me and to those reading you are not not the scholar you claim to be. Sure I could email your university account, but what would it prove? I'm sure they give out to the kitchen staff and janitorial personnel at the University email accounts as well. Have fun cleaning toilets while bopping your head to the ever so profound Madonna.

  33. 133

    Re: DanielDax
Yes. When I said "elders and betters" I was actually referring to you. And being a bit tongue-in-cheek. I thought you'd notice.
You, of course, had to say you work in the industry and by your own flawless logic, that must be a lie.
Yes, I have just realised that kitchen staff, etc. do have the same email accounts as us. But they are not members of the JCR Bench. I could provide a link with my profile as a member but it would only give more fuel for you to spend hours attacking me. Odd way to treat someone who, by your own admission, is "not worth the hassle".

  34. 134

    Re: charlie_a
I said that in reference to you making allegations that I fabricate…a silly attempt to try to discredit me. Now you just want to brush my accomplishments and knowledge off as some silly desperate attempt on my part, when in reality, you're sounding desperate about now. You really mean nothing to me; you're just entertainment. I enjoy watching you continually dig a hole and trying desperately to get the last word. I'm sure your neck is red by now hitting that reload key, waiting for my next response. I'm glad you see my words as an "attack"; if you weren't so defensive, you wouldn't see them as such. I actually think I'm hitting a nerve with you, otherwise you wouldn't be trying to prove yourself to me. You're a Madonna fan, for christ sake. How do you expect anyone to take you seriously?

  35. 135

    Re: DanielDax

Oh, but you're so much more then entertainment to me. This conversation really means a lot to me, as do you. It's profound, you know?

    Euugh.
Look - you're replying just as quickly as I am and with very similar responses. I make a silly attempt to discredit you, you make a silly attempt to discredit me. I try to get the last word, you try to get the last word.

  36. 136

The thing is, Madonna is only as relevant as Perez keeps trying to make her out to be. I don't deny her accomplishments or her work ethic, but really, who other than Madonna fans, PH, and maybe a once a year write-up in Forbes, do people talk about how Madonna outsells everyone, how much her tour grossed, etc.? Exactly. The haters come out in full force because they're tired of PH giving Madonna a free ride (as well as Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, etc) for doing something, and then condemning someone else and calling them sluts for doing the exact same thing. I have noticed that he's been a little bitchy toward Madonna lately, in his ever so sly way..making a jab here and there. I guess you're still miffed at not receiving your Vanity Fair Oscar after party invitation…trust me, PH..it probably got lost in the mail (wink). Back to Madonna, if she is the richest, most successful female artist in the world, it doesn't mean people have to like her…it actually makes me appreciate the ones I do love better than her even more, and trust me, I DO like her. Sure she had some great singles, but she'll never be Deborah Harry, Kate Bush, Dolly Parton, etc., and she knows that as well. That's the great thing about art..it's all subjective, and chart success doesn't always equal greatness.

  37. 137

Re: YoungTaurus – I agree with everything you said and I LOVE Deborah Harry (and Kate Bush and Dolly Parton, but not as much). They are all amazing artists.
I think people get fed up of Madonna when she isn't doing anything - the 'in-between' periods like this are when PH (and the public) get a bit nasty about her. The an album comes out and everyone chats her up more. That is the impression I get generally.

  38. 138

    Re: charlie_a
I was a little disappointed in the last album…I didn't hate it..it was just OK to me, but I didn't expect her tour to do that well, given the response to it by some of her fans (one of my best friends who LOVES Madonna listened to it online and hated it. I actually bought the CD–see, people still DO buy music–and it does have its moments of pleasure). I don't put her high on my list of top favorite artists, but whenever she does something, you can't but help but pay attention (kind of like Britney as well); there's really only a handful of artists who have that effect on the public. I guess that's her appeal to her fans..she constantly proves the naysayers wrong…and the ones who hate her love to hate for that reason as well.

  39. 139

Re: YoungTaurus – #138 I would like to add that Debra Harry, Dolly Parton, Celion Dion and other artist such as Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, you name it: don't feel compelled to stay in the spotlight and constantly be in the media with negative drama. I used to like Madonna's music, not so anymore. I have to differentiate what comprises a talented musician and/or lead vocal and vulgar Vadge doesn't quite cut it. Time is ticking away and lately Vadge continues to act out like a spoiled brat when she doesn't get her way. She needs a pacifier or a d*** these days. PS The title 'queen of pop' isn't a compliment to a woman who is 50-years-old either…you would think there would be another more mature title but this proves she is stuck some place in previous time.

  40. 140

    Re: SeekTruth
I think people make too big a deal of Madonna's age. Look at artists like Celine that are supposed to be 'ageing gracefully' - I only agree to an extent because they were never THAT disgraceful. Madonna was very vulgar and very disgraceful indeed, that is how she has made her buck and I don't see why she should give it up, if she doesn't want to, just because time is ticking. It is nauseatingly clichéd but age IS just a number. She has always wanted dolla and fame and she knows drama and sex sells and that is why she is still selling it.
    That's just what I think.

  41. 141

    Re: charlie_a
You know what, Charlie…most of the responses I made earlier were made from my desk at work, and I had time to get home, relax, and think about it, and you know what? It really isn't worth it to try to argue and put down someone whom I don't even know. So I apologize and take back everything I said to you. The only reason I even responded to your initial post was because you kind of came across as bitchy, and I felt compelled to respond, but it was all in the heat of the moment on my part.
    *
But you're right, who knows the real story as to why the nanny was fired, and really, WHO CARES?? You and I will still sleep better at night for it. It's close to midnight across the pond. I hope you have pleasant dreams.

  42. 142

    Re: YoungTaurus
For a while I thought you were talking about Deborah Harry’s newest album, Necessary Evil. Anyway - I was a LITTLE disappointed with Hardy Candy. Whilst I like it I do feel that it is a pretty lazy effort. It isn’t a slick as Confessions at all, and doesn’t feel as home-grown. Working backwards - American Life I like about the same as Hard Candy, Music I think is really bad for a M album (the singles are almost the only worthwhile tracks) but then I have friends who spin Music the whole time, Ray of Light obviously is splendid - similar ‘career high’ to Confessions, I reckon.
She does command a ludicrous amount of tabloid attention, especially in Europe whilst she was living in London.
Britney and Madonna and similar are unique because they are common currency for anyone at all. Everyone has an opinion about them because we are all constantly subjected to this barrage of live information about their lives. They are likely the whether - conversation starters! No one is ever going to say “Who is Madonna?” and I guess that is part of what we revel in as participants in ‘celebrity culture’.

  43. 143

Re: DanielDax – Night night DanielDax. I thought this might happen and I am very glad it has. I am sorry I wasn't the bigger man.
Once when I was about 14, I was on the forum of Vogue UK's website having a HUGE cat-fight about Debbie Harry and after a few weeks my main opponent and I realised we had similar views on basically everything EXCEPT Blondie and buried the hatchet.

  44. 144

    Re: charlie_a
I think AMERICAN LIFE is kind of underrated. It took me a few times to listen to it to get used to it, but I can appreciate the message she was trying to get across. Unfortunately a lot of her fans didn't get it, although I will say, her rap on the title track is completely unforgivable. Don't do that again, Madonna. MUSIC..eh..to me it was just a producer's album. I really don't hold RAY OF LIGHT in high regards as her masterpiece as most of her fans do (even though it IS the only album of hers I have ripped onto my ITunes player) only because I'm usually a nonconformist and will say I don't love it if everyone else does. My actual favorite is EROTICA. It was the album she made that she was accused of making for a long time. What people don't realize about Madonna, she gets this reputation as being overly sexual, but if you look at her early videos and listen to her songs, they're quite tame, even by the standards back then. It wasn't like she showed a lot of skin, and she sang lyrics like "True Blue..baby I love you." The ones who were shocked just wanted to be, IMO.

  45. 145

Madonna is a very smart businesswoman. If she did the right thing, which every celebrity does, she most likely had the terminated employee sign a confidentiality contract, which means the former employee can't squeak and we'll never know the reason as to why she was fired.

  46. 146

Re: YoungTaurus – Oh, I think the rap on American Life is amazing! Very punchy, very memorable, very silly. I always loved it. It was the first Madonna record I bought, actually.
Before that I only knew American Pie, Material Girl and Frozen…I liked them all as songs but I was just a kid and I had no concept of her as an artist (probably because she has lasted so long there iesn't one coherent image like there is currently with someone like Lily Allen or Flo from Flo and the Machine).

  47. 147

Re: Chavke – #147 Cerebral and somatic narcissists tend to be intelligent and can control (some) masses. People either admire them or are repulsed by them…I am repulsed by vulgar Vag. Some may not agree with my opinion: there is some level of evil with the narcissist.

  48. 148

Re: YoungTaurus – #146 As time went on, I saw that 'it' got more and more vulgar and offensive; hence: vulgar Vadge. There was a time when Vadge put out good dancing music but, face it: those days are over as well as her youth! The song '4 Minutes' couldn't have been more boring…so primary and childish, lame and stupid. She should have said ding, dong rather than tick-tock…simple boring rhymes!

  49. 149

Madonna her name alone says it all. There is no other.

  50. 150

    I FUCKING HATE MADONNA.
