Shanna Moakler Speaks Up - Fights Back!

Hot on the heels of the announcement of their split, Shanna Moakler is fighting allegations that she cheated on on-again /off-again partner Travis Barker last fall with actor Gerard Butler while Barker was in the hospital!
Moakler took to her official blog on Wednesday to tell her side of the story:
She says:
"I really thought the days of my personal relationship being played in the public eye were over. just so there is no confusion or "source" to attack my character, I am saying my side.
Travis and I were very much together in September when the horrific crashed happened, not only did I fly to Georgia I stayed by his side the entire stay and also for the bus ride home to LA, I think any human being with a heart and for the love of any good friend , never mind father of their children and lover would do the same, After arriving in LA and getting settled in the new hospital, I came across numerous romantic emails with MANY other woman, some famous , some I personally knew, all heart breaking. and the woman involved you know who you are and should be ashamed of yourself. I also came across emails where employees of my ex were writing comments on gossip networks like TMZ and Perez Hilton, attacking me as a woman and a mother. I Think those were more painful then the infidelities. As anyone can imagine, I was devastated, this is when I stopped going to the LA hospital, I knew and made sure even after what I learned he had a strong support system in place with friends and family, and I made it clear to them why I would be dismissing myself, at that point with the new information revealed to me I considered myself SINGLE and thou In my heart hoped we would remain friends and good parents had no intentions of getting back together. It was a painful time that no one unless they had lived it has the right to judge. Any actions I may or may have not done after this time, mean nothing.
I have been attacked by my Ex and his friends in the press for years at this point, my ability as a mother ( which to me is the cruelest thing you can do to any mother) my character and my integrity. I have never verbally bashed him as a father. I didn't even bash him after the infamous blogs years ago, I have never went on different social networks and made campaigns of hate and slander, In fact MANY times I have had to bite my tongue and try to be the bigger person. I have tried to always put the lives and thoughts and feelings of my children first. I am by no means an angel, and I have made many mistakes, but a woman can only turn her cheek so many times.
"No Comment" just wasn't sufficent this time when people continue to lie and distort the truth. the sad part is, the truth really isn't that juicy or news worthy, it's sad and I wish it had been left behind closed doors. I am a human being and the bashing has taken it's toll.

But then when she finds out he's talking to other womens she says:

So why is she going to act like she will suppor him as just a person, not a father, husband, boyfriend, etc., but then leave whe she finds other things about him that she doesn't like? If she genuinley went to see him just because it's the "humane" thing to do then she shouldn't get all hurt and leave. Why would she think he would stop cheating on her anyway, he obviously lost respect for her years ago.

Something about the way Travis acts…he seems so immature..Like the class clown trying to be funny but not really funny. I can see him and his punk lifestlye getting in the way of being a good husband and a good partner. I actually couldn't agree more - hence me commenting on that I think Shanna should be an 'adult' about the situation and keep her personal business between her the people that it directly affects- and not exploiting the situation by post a blog full of un-needed details. In no way am I/did I talk trash - I'm not "choosing" sides, calling anyone names, or even commenting on the details of their lives. Just simply stating: If she or anyone else don't want/don't like the negative press - why add to it or give people something to talk about?

You know I have to agree with her. She is not the one always saying shit it's him and his friends and basically his people. She has every right to react the way she did and say what she said. I feel bad for her. A person can only take so much shit before they snap. You never hear about his cheating ways and why? Because of who he is. I just watched a few episodes of 'Meet the Barkers' to refresh my memory and I have to say that I was really upset about the way Shanna treated her daughter. Travis and her acted as if she was invisible to them. They were only interested in the boy. I wonder why Oscar de la Hoya let's Shanna treat their daughter that way? A good mother treats her kids equally, even if they have different fathers. Also, she might be a nice person, but the way she behaved in that show was totally embarrassing. If I had kids, I would have never allowed people to document my trashy lifestyle, so that my kids would someday be able to watch their mommy boozing like an alcoholic, lying in bed the whole day, letting the nannies do the work, watching porn with daddy and almost having sex with daddy at a party in front of all the other party guests. This might be rock 'n' roll lifestyle, but it doesn't help you making people think that you're a good mother.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want to say that mothers aren't allowed to have fun anymore, but there are some things your kids just don't have to witness.
