Farrah's Son: Daddy Says "Stay In Jail!"

As we all know, Redmond O'Neal is currently rotting away in a California jail cell because of his drug possession arrest on Sunday afternoon. Redmond was found in possession of both Xanax and heroin at the time of his arrest.
The drug-addled O'Neal's bail has been set at $75,000, but don't expect daddy to come to the rescue anytime soon!
Ryan O'Neal backs his son's arrest and won't be coughing up the big bucks for his son's release by any means!
"Redmond won't be leaving jail anytime soon," says a source close to the O'Neal family. "Redmond could remain in custody until his next court date on April 24th. His dad won't be bailing him out. There is no chance that Redmond's friends would be bailing him out either as they don't have the financial capability to do so."

Look Perez, this guy probably had the same priviliged upbringing that you want for Mercy - care of Madonna. Money and affluence mean shit if you parents are always otherwise occupied. I feel sorry for Redmond, give the boy a break, his mum is dying of cancer and has been ill the last couple of years. Honestly!!!!!

although we all know that 1) heroin is the worst addiction and 2)ALL 3 of Ryan O' Neil children are on heroin (I believe that 's because of their bad unfit parents,it can't be a coincidence) I really wonder:how stoned & fucked up in the mind can someone be to BRING DRUGS IN JAIL?that being said ,I still think this child must go to rehab for AT LEAST 2 YRS and never see the light of sun if he doesn't sober up.

Its a shame with a drug-addict dad and a mom dying of cancer, this kid keeps spiraling downward. I mean carrying drugs while in a jail parking lot, where is his mind? It makes me wonder last yr when his brother Griffin tried to chain Redmond to the stairs so he wont get more drugs, Ryan fought with Griffin and not with Redmond, Ryan is truly enabler. What a gr8 dad. He gets all his kids hooked on drugs and gets high with them. He prolly wants Redmond to stay in jail, so Ryan wont have to share his drugs with his son.

Jail is where he should be - he's starting to take on that meth head look.
The best place for him right noiw is jail until he can be mandated to rehab for as long as it takes. He is an addict and that's where he belongs. I will not judge because he needs help. I just hope he is not locked up forever in jail. He will just be an addict with other addicts who will feed his addictions. Sentence him to rehab for as long as it takes and then 1500 hours of community service.

How awful it must be for an addict to be in jail without his drugs, cold turkey. I do hope they give him tranquilizers at least, otherwise he may die from the withdrawal. What a pity, and it's not his fault he turned out this way. That's Follywood for you. Even Ryan and Farrah are not to blame, let's blame the so-called star-system, which puts so much pressure on actors. What a shame !
for every dollar spent on drug rehabilitation there is $7.46 dollars spent to incarcerate someone. He should be in a drug program that works, not jail. Especially with californias fiscal crisis.
I feel sorry for all of Ryan O'Neal's prodigy…what a curse he gave to all these kids…his drug and alcohol addictions. He should have been castrated years ago. And he has the nerve to judge anyone else?! You created this Ryan…
