Former Power Rangers Star Sentenced To Death

Holy shiz!

A former Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers actor has been sentenced to death for the murder of Tom and Jackie Hawks of Prescott, Arizona.

In 2004, 29-year old Skylar Deleon went on a test cruise with the couple on their yacht under the pretense of looking to purchase it. He then overpowered the couple, tied them to the anchor, and threw them overboard. The bodies have never been found.

Then, Deleon and wife-at-the-time Jennifer Henderson scrubbed the boat clean with bleach in Newport Harbor.

The defense pleaded for a life sentence from the jury, playing the abused and neglected child card, but they weren't sold.

An eye for an eye I say…

  3. 103

Someone watched too many episodes of law and order.

  4. 104

"DEATH SENTENCE" dats a bit cruel life sentence will have been better we shouldn't have 2 decided if someone lives or DIES!!!

Re: dbabygirl81 – I just IMdb'd him, he played some guy called Roger in 1 episode called "second chance". That doesn't mean much to me, the episode aired in 1994 and I was only born in 1993.

Still, this whole story is pretty fucked up. I really don't understand why people can do something like that over something so little. It's sickening.

I did read the book……this Tyler is a MONSTER he never wanted to work a real job and his wife demanded a life style they could never have. Total stupid white trash they had kids way too young started playing house but couldn't pay the house note. He also murdered another man for his life savings of $10,000 and got away with it for years. He tried to blame his choices on his father who was a con man as well.
    ~
As for his wife Jennifer she is pile of dog shit. She didn't kill anyone but she knew what Tylers plan was and helped clean up the murder scene. Jennifer also met the Hawks and brought the kids to the boat prior to the murders. Tyler wanted show of his family because the Hawks really didn't think Tyler had the money to buy the boat he knew something was not right. She is one cold hearted bitch. She was also offered a deal to testify that would have kept her out of jail and home with her very young children and she did not take the deal. Her parents are now raising her children.

HE'S ON DEATH ROW.. WHICH MEANS WITH ALL THE APPEALS AND SHIT HE WILL LIVE ANOTHER 10-12 YRS.

  8. 108

I hope that he gets all that is coming to him. I hope something goes terribly wrong on his day of death, and the outcome is a slow agonizing painful ending to his existance.

There are millions of people that have been abused, but we don't see them out killing other people. He knew what he was doing. He is just like everyone else; it is “always” someone else’s fault. He deserves to pay. The smug asshole.

  9. 109

I hope AZ does like Texas and executes his sorry ass swiftly. Or better yet, bring him out to Cali, I'll take him out on a boat, throw buckets full of chum in the water and let the Great Whites that frequent this part of the Pacific Ocean have their way with him.

Before her trial, Jennifer L. Deleon, 26, a mother of two, turned down prosecutors' offer of immunity in exchange for testifying against her husband, Skylar Deleon.

In November,2007 she was found guilty by a seven-woman, five-man jury of two counts of first-degree murder and the special circumstances of murder for financial gain and multiple murder.

The slain couple's son Ryan Hawks, speaking during Friday's sentencing, declined to address Deleon. Instead he spoke to her relatives.

"I know the defendant could care less about my family, how we feel, how this horrific crime has affected us," said the 31-year-old. "I urge the defendant's family to give up the children for adoption. The best possible future these children can ever have growing up is not knowing who their biological parents were, what they did, and how the children themselves were used as decoys [in the plot] to murder my parents for financial gain."

Thomas Hawks' cousin, Robert Gayle, read a statement on behalf of Jackie Hawks' parents.

"I hope the defendant gets life in prison since she helped sentence my daughter to death," the statement said.

Deleon did not address the court or the Hawkses' relatives during the hearing, which lasted less than 10 minutes.

What a Filthy, Depraved, Lousy, SubHuman Creature he is., DEATH is TOO GOOD for him. Torture for years is what I would say? Tie him to an anchor drop it in the water, pull it out annd let him catch his breath then drop it again and again for years?

  13. 113

    HOLY FUCK IM FLOORED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 OMFG

    114

Prison will not be pleasant for this nice looking guy. Where was the trial? If in Cali, he may be roomies with Scott Peterson.

  15. 115

    What a creep.

  16. 116

I'm against death penalty, by killing sb you become a murderer too.He needs to rotten in jail though

  17. 117

Re: amyhearts – noooooo!!! james franco is WAY sexier, and not crazy. Cases like this one make me nostalgic for Roman colleseum public executions and dudes getting eaten by tigers and shit

  18. 118

BRING IT ON! I'm sick of warehousing rapists, murders and child molesters…thin that damn herd.

  19. 119

    WOW.

  20. 120

go go power rangers…straight to hell
    psycho.

  21. 121

He was never a Power Rannger…just a bit part actor. I live in Newport Beach and this story has been in the papers since it happened. He now says he wants a sex change operation, wears makeup and he tried to castrate himself while in Orange County Jail.

His pregnant wife took their toddler daughter on the boat to meet the Hawks and to put their minds at ease as to what kind of a person he was. He lied and told the Hawks he was a child actor who was using his earnings to buy the boat. Let this be a lesson people. Don't trust anybody. Tom Hawks was a retired probation officer. He should have been more suspicious, but he let his guard down.

God Bless those poor people. RIP Hawks's.

  22. 122

he was not a power rangers star!!!!! I searched (something that you should do!!) and he was o the show ONE time and it was a NON SPEAKING role!!!
    jeeze do your job right!!

  23. 123

FYI, here's the episode he was in as "Roger" - according to IMDB, this was the only episode of Power Rangers he was in (and the only acting credit to his name)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35qsK2jPhHM&feature=related

  24. 124

    Go go power Rangers!!
haha thank god he was just an extra :)
i thought he was like the red one!!
but that is a horrible way to die!!

  25. 125

"The defense pleaded for a life sentence from the jury, playing the abused and neglected child card, but they weren't sold."

CARD?? wtf.. i'm guessing none of you or perez have ever educated yourselves on the psychology of criminals enough to know it's not just a get-out-of-a-death-penalty scheme. law breakers don't kill for fun. don't base your opinions on how criminals in movies act. law breakers are really are sick.

crime has surprisingly been at a steady level for the past several decades (so just because the media reports more and more crime everyday, doesn't mean there IS more crime everyday). BUT.. incarcerations and death penalty sentencing have EXPONENTIALLY increased

…. so same level of crime, and more prisoners. WOW.. putting "them" in jail REALLY works, huh?

  26. @v@ says – reply to this

    126

His guilt is not in question. Why should America fork out millions to support this sociopath in jail through to his golden years? It doesn't look as though he is capable of anything redeeming to pay for his own existence. The Hawks get no golden years. Their children will suffer with their absence. This fits all criterion for the death penalty, as it was calculatingly premeditated.

  27. 127

Any one who kills is not human their monsters and they deserve to die

  28. C*DUB says – reply to this

    128

Hey Perez, maybe you should delete this one. It makes you look like you're losing your touch, GF :)

  29. 129

    what color was he?

  30. 130

psshh. mighty moshin' emo rangers are soo much better.

  31. 131

what the fuck?? i'm not a huge supporter of the death penalty but this idiot deserves it, apparently that couple had a 9 nine year old child who now, thanks to him, is an orphan. have fun burning in hell asshole.

  32. 132

    Scitz.

  33. 133

i read the true crime novel about this nutbag and what he did. these people he murdered were like your mom and dad, they were cool, honest and kind people - they did NOT deserve to die. BUT he does and I cant wait for him to burn in hell for what he did. little shit!

  34. 134

gee sus! why is there crime against human to human nowadays???? and actors like him murdering when they got fame and money??? what was he thinking?

  35. 135

Um… I don't think he should've gotten the death penalty. I think he should have to sit in a cell for the duration of his natural life and think about what he did. If they kill him he gets off easy. But who knows, maybe if they keep him alive, he'll repent for his actions, and we can save his eternal soul!

  36. 136

    OMG This is insane!!!1

  37. 137

what power ranger was he?? i don't remember him…

  38. 138

I went to research the guy since I didn't remember him in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and believe me being a 90's girl I watched all of those episodes and he is only in one episode.I can understand if he was like the boy in the movie or something.Really he is nothing.

  39. 139

    WTF?!?
What a psycho! I can't stand murderers, rapists, kidnappers, etc. It's so disgusting.

  40. 140

thats some bad shiznit, its not like he hit and ran on somebodys a** .. sucks

  41. 141

UHHHHHHHH WHAT THE FUCK, I'm from PRESCOTT!!! Like 100 people live there.

  42. 142

why? I wonder what the motive was on that one

  43. 143

He was the red powerranger. damn this case finally coming to an end. He was early 20s when he did it. Hmmn crazy mind. And life is so precious to throw it away like that.

  44. 144

    Re: Novel1

    Haha! Me too.

  45. 145

Re: Lucifers_twinsister_RebelHellgirl – no, he wasn't. the red one was the one who did gay porn. this guy was merely a small role and not one of the original power rangers by any means.

  46. 146

    oh my goodness. that's crazy

  47. 147

he was too a power ranger he was in zeo then tha beginning of turbo……but yea he totally deserves to die

  48. 148

gosh> one day your a child actor EXTRA and the next your a FLUCKING SERIAL KILLER!!! HE IS GOING TO HELL!!! good!!

  49. 149

that is beyond crazy! fry the bastard!

  50. 150

No matter what someone does, they DO NOT deserve to die for it. He may have done something sick and awful, but just chuck him in jail, don't kill him. Thank God the UK has some sense, unlike the US. That's why I could never live there, in a country that will kill people for things they have done.

  51. 151

You guys all make me sick. Not particuarly for this, but for the fact that Tookie was an reformed person, a humanitarian! And you STILL killed him. Seriously, you make me so sick.

  52. 152

    bicho raro!

  53. 153

I'm sorry but I'm glad he's being sentenced to death. That was one of the cruelest cases I have ever read about in my life.

  54. 154

Re: stephenr I agree!! Its a shame the hot one has to die… but what he did was pretty effed up.

  55. 155

He deserves every amount of punishment. Including death.

  56. 156

that is terrible .. i used to love that damn red ranger ..that makes me sick to my stomach

  57. 157

Shit, that's a horrid way to go. Crazy arsehole.
