Amanda Holden's response was the best. My little sister started screaming and gagging when she came on stage - nasty cow.
When the clip started, I was really upset at the audience's reaction to her answers before she performed. People can be so cruel, and this woman opened her mouth and touched their souls. I had big , soppy, wet tears rolling down my cheeks 15 seconds into her performance. Utterly breathtaking. We are blessed by her voice; hopefully, the lesson therein will stick.

I think Perez wrote "attempts to do" so as not to give away the surprise of Susan being an incredible singer. Like everyone else I was expecting her to be a ringer but my eyes just widened when she began singing. Amazing.

Crying right now…OMG, Susan Boyle is amazing! I felt bad at first because the camera pans over the audience making assholey faces, but everyone gives her a standing ovation - so inspiring! I absolutely love her and hope all of her dreams come true….she definitely has the talent to go very far! Bless Simon too - he's great!
