WOW, now this is really pathetic…
I am so tired of their bull!!! Tori is such fame whole, she's basically known for being a celebrity. Why doesn't she just step up, call her mom instead of publishing her dirty laundry in a book. If she really wanted to be close to her mom, she would find ways to do it! bitch

I dont' understand why people can't put petty stuff away and just get on with living. Tori has my admiration for not sucking up to her mom for the sake of money; however, it is time to just be a daughter and not let the money contaminate their lives going forward. Tori should know all moms and daughters have issues but most get past them and accept each other the way they are. If Candy is disruptive or manipulative she can still be seen but perhaps infrequently.

I've never thought of her as a celebrity - actually never even knew who the hell she was. But if she wants to work things out "in private", doing on the internet is not the way.
I have a batshit crazy parent who goes around telling people he wishes he had a relationship with me and my children. I cut him out of my life for a good reason. But to hear him tell it, I'm keeping my children from him for no good reason. He spreads lies and believes those lies. The stuff he comes up with is just unbelievable.

In almost any family, when one parent dies, the assests are just transferred to the other parent. It was not a second marriage or anything. Tori has been angry since then. When your husband died and left Tory $800,000 out of an estate worth several hundred million you did not step up and correct his mistake. That was your fault and I believe it started the downward spiral you now have with her. Something similar happened in my family and when appropriate amounts of money are not spread around to the remaining ones who are loved by the ones who inherit it causes this type of problem. Perez has Tori ever told you that her mother couldn't give her money even if she wanted to. Her father set up the trust fund in a way that both children will get the bulk of their inheritance AFTER Candy is dead. That is why she has to make money with her books and silly shows.

Tori's mom needs to cut this crap out. She is hardly likely to endear her daughter to her. More than likely Candy's just trying to embarrass her into seeing her. My guess is she never had much time for Tori when she was growing up. No doubt she was busy playing the trophy wife of a rich and famous man. Whatever her reasons are for not seeing her mom is her own business. They weren't close even before Tori's dad died.

PART I: I think I have some understanding of why Tori doesn't wish to have her mom in her life right now. I went through this sort of thing with my own mother. I felt that I didn't want her around me or my kids because I basically didn't think she was a good influence or positive energy for any of us. It's so important to take the time and effort to have a good relationship with your child when they are young. My own mother didn't do this with me, and it appears evident that Candy didn't do this with Tori. I can say with a great deal of certainty that public letters like this one from Candy do not work with daughters who have experienced this sort of relationship with their moms.
PART II: If Candy truly wanted the kind of genuine relationship she talks about here, she would sit down and write or record a private message of apology to Tori — an apology for showing indifference and lack of real love towards her daughter during those important early years. Living in a huge mansion makes people think that Tori probably got everything and anything she always ever wanted. I don't believe this was the case — what she really wanted was something her mother never gave her. I respect Tori for wanting better for herself, her family, and particularly for her own children. She is protecting her new family, and I totally understand this, for I have done the same. It would be nice to be able to forgive and wrap it all up in a nice looking package, but some times you just cannot do this when so much damage and pain ensues whenever that person re-enters your life.
If Mr. Spelling left $ 800 000 to his daughter Tori, then Candy had no choice but to respect his will. That's what a will is for: you want it to be respected. Tori, I would advise you to call your mother. If she gets on your nerves or something, just ignore it. Maybe she doesn't know how to give the kind of love you expect. But I'm sure she does love you. Are you a spoiled brat ? I hope not, but show your good intentions and pick up that telephone right now. Your mother will not always be around, you may feel sorry later on. 1. We have no idea what vms, tms, emails Candy wrote. Just like this open letter, they are probably all about what Tori needs to do, what Tori hasn't done - hurt, not producctive. 2. This open letter is manipulative beyond words. If she wanted this to be private, she would have reached on privately.T his letter is to save face - and to plug her book, nothing more. 3. There is NO remorse, NO responsibility, NO welcoming arms in this letter. Candy says she is stepping up, but she isn't, she is self-serving, as always - there is no invitation, there is no indication of how she'll repair things, or how she'll make things better. She doesn't even acknowledge or validate or take an ounce of responsibility for Tori's pain or anger. 4. Candy has Borderline Personality Disorder.
