George Harrison Honored In Hollywood

The Beatles' guitarist George Harrison was posthumously honored in Los Angeles yesterday with a star on Hollywood's infamous Walk of Fame!
Friends and family members of the late guitarist gathered for the ceremony, including widow Olivia, son Dhani, Paul McCartney, Monty Python alum Eric Idle, Tom Hanks, and Tom Petty.
Dhani looks like the spitting image of his father, don't U think???

It was probably comforting to everybody to see Dhani accept his dad's honor. He looks so much like his dad and reminds everyone that George lives on. It's good to see Eric Idle, too!
Dhani is so hot! And his band is great too! I'm a huge fan of The Beatles, and especially George Harrison. He wrote one of the most beautiful love songs of all time, and I was happy to see he was honored for his contribution to music.

One of my friends blogged about this occasion in her MS blog, and rather scarily at that! Said it all was a MOB scene, and that Macca was whisked away and kept from his fans, which she thought was kinda of pissy, but, oh well … She was just trying to avoid being trampled to death.

This makes me happy - George was a great musician. The fact that so many of his friends turned up just goes to show that he was a decent guy too. Dhani is like his clone!
Dhani does look just like his dad! Sounds just like him too! He's doing the All Things Must Pass look here, except he doesn't have the beard George had at that time. They would be about the same age too, come to think of it! I think George would be proud of how well his son represents him. Dhani is not one of those rock star offspring who get arrested and spin out of control. He is dignified and eloquent and I think he's awesome.

I was there, and it was a beautiful ceremony. Dhani is even more gorgeous in person.
I nearly spiritually died the day George did- I was a fan on my own as a kid when I bought Cloud Nine and my dad said, "did you know George was a Beatle?" The day he died I saw it on the TV in my breakroom at work and I fell to my knees and cried my eyes out- I own everything George did. Dhani, I love you, your dad, and your music (I watch your youtube vids, etc.), and I hope you will come to Atlanta and play someday. You look so much like your dad, I have no other words…
