Slumdog Millionaire Star Put Up For Illegal Adoption!

Rafiq Quereshi, the father of 9-year-old Slumdog Millionaire star Rubina Ali has attempted to sell his daughter in an illegal adoption deal for close to $300,000, according to shocking new reports.
Awful!
When an undercover reporter pretended to be interested in "adopting" (aka buying) Ali from Quereshi, the girl's father gave the reporter his sob story:
“We live in one room, seven of us sleep on the floor. I earn £2 to £3 [$3 to $4] a day. I have to consider what is best for me, my family and for Rubina’s future," said Quereshi.
What's best for you and your daughter's future???
What about the fact that Slumdog producers have sent Rubina to a UN school and have set up a trust fund the girl will have access to once she turns 18???
Quereshi has adamantly denied any sort of illegal adoption, but with the father of Rubina being more than vocal with his opinion that his daughter was underpaid for appearing in Slumdog Millionaire and the undercover reporters calling their story "fair, true and accurate," it's hard not to believe!!

What is best for his daughters future is to be taken away from that family, the reported should have paid the $$. A trust fund at 18 is great, terrific, wonderful. But what good is it doing her NOW, when the family is struggling to eat and live?
Selling of children is pretty common in 3rd world countries (Yes, sorry India, you are still one) But given the fact this little girl is taken care of with an excellent school and a large trust fund, it is pure greed on the part of the parent - come and live with us in the USA, Rubina! Sorry to see her exploited by her Father.

I saw a pic of the boy with his gifted guinea pig sleeping on sticks, outside. after some sleazy real estater stole the money for their new homes and no one, NO ONE from the movie put up the $30k for a new one. You don't think that these 2 kids will get kidnapped or killed upon receiving their trustfund at 18? This pig of a reporter was disgusting for tempting a desperate parent.

You know what, if you're sleeping 7 on a floor making 3 dollars a day maybe you should not have so many children. Why is there no thought given to family size in third world countries? They just keep popping them out and expect everyone else to feed them. I feel very sorry for that little girl. You'd expect her situation would be different since she was in a big hit movie like Slumdog. I keep reading there's trust funds set up and they'll be moving to another home, but why is it taking so long for these children to taken care of?

All the stuff the producers are doing for those kids, just know it was AFTER everyone found out they were paid only a few grand and than kicked to the curb. They were still living in slums while the movies goes on to make $100M+. They really don't care about those kids, I'm sure the parents would keep the children….if they could afford them. Why is it shocking? Everyone knows they don't value daughters, thats why her money was put in trust or she'd never see a dime. I'm just surprised we haven't heard she was killed… the father is so desperate for money its about the only option left to get his hands on her cash. Luckily for the girl the world is watching. Too bad the school she is going to isn't a bording school so she could get away from her family then maybe she'd have a chance to become something.
