This fight … or difference of opinion started with legalizing marriage. I think it's very interesting that people can turn around and call you (Perez) all sorts of names as a reaction to what…the state recognizing love…a piece of paper (marriage cert).
I support the state being OUT of the bedrooms of the people and resent any futile efforts to squelch love - may it be between a man and a man, woman and man or woman and woman.
In 10-20 years blogs like this may be used in classrooms to show how idiotic some of us were…

I am not only upset that you set up a question like that at a Miss America competition but that you would set up someone for death threats and/or harassing phone calls. Did you really think that asking a yes or no questions that had to do with politics would result in anything more than a political response? She is from California, and as a contestant she is supposed to be a representation of that state's views. Last I checked, the state of California voted to not allow same sex marriage, and whether you like it or not, it was a majority vote. I think what really got Ms California USA wannabe into trouble was the way she worded her answer. She actually said "In my country, family, we believe that a marriage is between a man and a woman." I agree with Perez, Ms. USA needs to represent and care about all USA people, not just "her people." I think she learned a valuable lesson. Maybe she has a career singing religious hymns.

Private information sent to you to participate is meant to be kept confidential. If you do harm, or incite harm upon him through your actions here, at the very least you can be held liable in civil court, and potentially criminally as well depending on how far some retard takes it. Also, his business, after firing him most likely, can sue you for interuptions, lost business, wages etc. and to be honest, if they do fire him, you could be sued for that as well, by him.
