I am a Christian and this guy made me want to throw up. He is keeping humanity in the dark ages with his bigotry. And if God had not wanted us to be this was…why on earth did he make us this way? Homosexuality is not a disease, it has been around since the beginning of time. All men (and women) are created equal and until people like this Bigot realize that, there will still be pointless suicides and murders. It was people who were intolerant of Americans that flew planes into the World Trade Centers. We as humans need to learn to love each other for who we are and just let everyone love whoever the heck they want to love!! This is what is called Freedom of Speech. You need not agree with what someone says, but they have the right to say it. He has a radio show and y ou're still allowed to blog. Any Christian truly educated about his or her faith would then know that Christianity follows what is known as the New Testament, and the religion looks to the Old Testament primarily for its historical aspects. Many parts of the bible are not supposed to be taken literally, too. People decide to pick and choose which parts to take literally when in reality, if all of the bible was taken literally, women would have no rights and people would have to sacrifice lambs on a regular basis. Another thing that should be taken into consideration is the translation of the bible. Not all of the verses are precisely translated, if you did not know. Although it is not bad to claim to be a Christian who believes gay marriage is immoral, it is wrong to claim that you believe this because of your Christianity. NEXT.

That's very convenient, but if you actually had read the New Testament you would have found this scripture: 1 Corinthians 6:9-11. Which in part says: "Do not be misled, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulteress, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men , nor thieves etc. will inherit God's Kingdom." Paul goes on to tell the Christians that SOME of them were like that but they have been washed clean, sanctified. The point is they WERE like that but they turned away from those practices. Don't believe the bible, that's your choice, but don't claim to know it and then misrepresent it. Don't mean to be preachy, but I'm just setting the facts straight.

I don't agree with him on issues having to do with gay marriage, as I'm pro gay marriage, but it's a free country, he can say what he wants, just as Janneane Garaffalo can rant and say what she wants. I personally think he's pretty funny on most conservative issues!

While I could careless about anyone's sexuality, I don't feel like one should be an outcast because of their beliefs. My main question to Perez would be, why ask a question like that if you're not ready for the answer. As you are openly gay, she has as much right to openly be against gays. I commend her for standing up for what she believes and not compromising those beliefs to pacify those who may not agree with her ideas, as I commend those who are openly gay for not being afraid to be themselves as well.
