Alabama Honors Miss California

What are the government officials in Alabama thinking?
The Alabama House has just approved a resolution by Republican Rep. Jay Love of Montgomery that "praises Miss USA contestant Carrie Prejean for speaking out against gay marriage."
Does everyone in Alabama feel that way?

Re: OMGitsme2 –
I learned my cousin and her woman bought sperm for her egg so it's her genes, therefore survival. Owned.
Re: former M fan – it WAS the only thing why people got married. in fact they were forced to marry not that long ago when a women got pregnant. just open your eyes, please.
Absolutely not! I am an Alabamian who's in favor of gay marriage. I was appalled at Miss C's answer to your question, and am happy at this much of this country's response and outrage to her answer.
While I do not believe the government can force churches to acknowledge marriage within their walls, this country was founded on the principals of equality for all people and separation of church and state. There is absolutely no reason that two gay people should not be able to get married in a non-religiously-affiliated civil ceremony.
That being said, I have two other points:
1. Not everyone in this state feels that way. In fact, there is probably a majority of people in this state that disagree with me (hence, the conservative representatives). I do think, though, that the number of people in support of gay marriage (or civil unions, etc) is rising here.
2. I agree that you should be upset with Miss C's answer. Additionally, I thought you were very good on Larry King. However, you have taken this too far and dragged it out too much. You are treating this as a personal attack or vendetta against you instead of characterizing it as what it truly is: an equality issue that needs to get attention. This is not about you and Miss California's alleged attack on you. It is about gay people everywhere, and their current lack of rights in this country.
Re: wet.sock – don't read the comments when they bother you (the same point you use).
Re: AlyciaErin – Have you ever heard the word SECULAR?
Because you're supposed to be living in a place that is supposed to be secular. That means GOD doesn't find his way into politics.
One thing we need to clarify, opposing gay marriage is not hateful towards gays.
Perez, you were on CNN debating this, you shamelessly posted clips of it here as well, but the arguments presented to you were valid from one point of view. The fundamental definition, and all that is embodied with the definition of "marriage" is in fact between a man and a woman. It's not hateful to "ban" the movements to redefine something that is just a religious sacrament. Make fun of christians, or any other religion if you want, but where will the line be drawn when religious beliefs are later forced to redefine their practice to accommodate gays as well? Leave church and state separate right? Come up with a new word apply a definition to it that details it as a union between two people in love, have it passed to have to same benefits legally as marriage, and you'll probably get further faster.
Christianity isn't stuffing their views down anyones throat as much as they are just protecting their belief system. No one is forced to be christian, and neither should christians be forced to believe what you feel.
No not everyone in Alabama agrees with this resolution. Hell have the people in Alabama didn't know it was even something that was being considered. What the hell is the point of the resolution anyway? What does it do other than say to the rest of the country that Alabama law makers are completly wasting time and money on honoring someone who at the end of the day is inconsequential? And why are they honoring her anyway? Because she said what she believed. I say what I believe everyday. I, an Alabamaian, do not have a problem with gay marriage, I believe that NO one is in a position to tell someone how to live their life and what is right and wrong for them. I believe that everyone is entitled to the fundamentals that this country was based on: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Now that I have said what I believe, WHERE IS MY DAMN HONOR!
Re: Aleesanborn – so why do they need to be married? when there are things like civil marriages. and they still are in california.
i will not burn, but i'm so so so very sick of gays pretending that there are no heterosexuals.
I agree with The Alabama House for recognizing what's good in this country. Which is better then the sick perverted twisted HIV infected gays.
Re: stop crying – he does, i'm beginning to "hate" gays, cause this "war" is totally unnecessary and inhuman. and because it looks as if a lot gays think that perez is right. but i think that they are rather uneducated, they don't know what they're "fighting" for.
btw: i'm atheist, but marriage is christian. unlike a civil union or civil marriage. and i totally respect that.
I support gay marraige…But this is a gossip sight & not ALL of us viewers are gay so can you pleaz stop publishing things about a Gays!!!
*If someone doesnt agree with you it doesnt make them a bad person.Unless someone verbally or physically attacks you for being gay they have a right to express their opinions.By attacking people who have only expressed their opinions…You have made YOURSELF look worse than them.
Of course not everybody in Alabama feels that way…My best friend is a Lesbian and she's from Mobile Alabama…he's just an ass
Re: BennyScrap – Gay people want to get married because growing up, that was the word that was used for two people who are committing the rest of their lives to each other.
The definitions of words, like words themselves, are constantly changing.
As long as gay people don't pursue 'marriage' in a church, they should be allowed to use the word marriage.
It is, after all, only a word.
TN, AL, GA, SC, and FL are all full of shit, Perez…every southern State SUCKS and is about 20 years behind most "normal" states. It sucks!
Re: BennyScrap – No one said gays wanted to marry in a "church" and as for your comment ( Don't take something away from my religion and I won't take gay civil unions away from you. ) No one is taking shit away from your religion but you and your "religion" are trying really hard to take away any kind of legal union between gay people….BTW its flattering how you gave my last comment such interest…
Re: ihypes – -
If "marriage" is just a Christian word (I am Christian BTW), why do we use it to denote non-religious unions between a man and a woman (in a courthouse, for example)? If we are going to call unions between two gay people something else, then shouldn't we also call ALL non-religious unions something else?
Blah
May we please call him ' Gay Love '
of course they do not all feel that way. alabama is just as great a state as any other. here in alaska, before she went on the campaign trail and came back a zombie, governor palin put the issue of same-sex benefits for state employees not to a decision she herself should solely make, but to the people for a vote. and even though there was a squeaker in which the "no" side won, she still hasn't taken those benefits away. i hope the issue isn't revisited as she's come back a changed woman. maybe when her son gets home from iraq this fall she'll be less crazy. anyway, this issue in alabama is obviously going to be decided not by a public vote, but by people who will make decisions for their constituents. or maybe their constituents wrote them? in that case, it's not entirely lawmakers' faults. thanks for listening to both sides of the story. love what you do.
Re: bamagrad – AMEN!
Ummm NO! I live in Alabama and I don't feel that way! Jay Love looks like a creeper anyway.
Stop being stereotypical Perez. Just because someone from Alabama says that doesn't mean that everyone in Alabama feels that way. I praise Miss CA too because she was giving her opinion and you should respect her opinion instead of criticizing it. You have yours and she has hers. Let it go!
Can I just say that I attended the University of Alabama and this is NOT how everyone feels there. Some of my dearest friends there were equal rights activists etc…. not to mention some of my fave gays are from there too!!
no, they don't! absolutely not.
i was born and raised in alabama. i left for six years, but have been back for the past two and a half. while it's true that many people in this state are VERY conservative, there are definitely voices of reason to counter them … and i count myself among the latter.
i did not vote for jay love in the past election, primarily for his stance on gay marriage and abortion. i believe that women should be in charge of their bodies and their lives, and that members of the LGBT community should have the same rights and privileges as heterosexuals. love knows no gender, and god knows no hate. while people may never agree on the issue, that's besides the point. separate is not equal and unfortunately we, as a country, had to learn that the hard way.
i have many friends and know countless other people within this state that feel the same way i do. we may be in the minority, but we are here, speaking our mind and fighting the fight for those who have the same rights to love and happiness as everyone else. please know that.
Re: ObstinateBitch – I can agree with that statement that it does naturally occur in animal societies. Most of those cases, however(notice I'm not saying all), are used to show dominance over other animals of their species. Even though homosexuality is naturally occuring, I can't help but think that it might be nature trying to slow down our immense population growth. Thoughts?
Nope. I live in alabama and I find there are ALOT of backward idiots in government here. I was evicted from my house because my boyfriend and I were not married. It's actually LEGAL to do that here. I have never been more ashamed of alabama than right now. And seems to me if people don't like you, why are they reading your blog? hmmmmmm
gooooooo alabamer yay good job
Ugh…these Alabama lawmakers are showing their ignorance. How can they celebrate discrimination? So embarrassing! No, not everyone in Alabama feels that way. I grew up there and my whole family still lives there. None of us are against gay marriage. I believe everyone should legally have the right to get married. EVERYONE! This damn Jay Love deserves a mushroom stamp…
Re: epic – I don't know WTF your talking about..I never said Perez was right nor do I agree with him all the time…. now don't use these comments as an excuse to voice your hatred towards gay people… I'm sure you felt that way from the start…and if this "war" as you put it bothers you so much take your own advice …( Re: wet.sock – don't read the comments when they bother you (the same point you use).
I'm from Alabama. Firstly, though, I don't even understand what this resolution all about. Is it praising the contestant for just speaking her mind and staying true to her opinions and beliefs? If so, I agree. Nothing wrong with freedom of speech being used.
But if it is praising her for what her opinions and beliefs actually entail, I do NOT agree. Because it's clearly not the place of the government to do such a thing. The government of Alabama obviously doesn't represent all of its residents, and as it can't, I think it'd be best for it to just keep its nose out of this.
Re: BennyScrap – LMAO!!!!!
Perez is an ignorant, disgusting, hateful man (if you can even call him a man). He has absolutely NO class.
Not everyone believes in gay marriage, so this is just a suggestion: if gays want to help their cause, they need to elect a new Emperor of Homosexuality. Perez Hilton is making people hate homosexuality more than ever.
He is more ignorant and hateful than Miss California and the Governor of Alabama. Atleast they earned their titles. He had to dub himself 'The Queen'.
I'm proud of Miss California, she spoke her mind, she was honest, and she has stood behind her beliefs.
It's funny that gay people want EQUAL RIGHTS FOR ALL, but they don't want that to apply to anyone who disagrees with them. Homosexuals have become such hypocrites. If you want equality for all, don't try to take it away from people who oppose you.
YAY ALABAMA!!
Re: stop crying – Because it was insipid, vapid, hatred-filled filth that will only make your point invalidated. If what I posted seemed stupid, it was because it originally came from you. Try speaking with a little more dignity and understanding, and people won't make fun of you.
Come on does it really matter? It is Alabama… it's been made fun of for as long as I can remember. It's due to this state pulling tricks like that make it a joke state. Like Oklahoma… you just leave them alone and the rest of the world makes fun of them.
Re: Meghan24 – Shut it bitch, you don't represent me.
Re: bamagrad – You're exactly right. That's the point that I've been trying to say this whole time. Couples that are not actively religious or seeking to be religious(we know if we want to be involved with religion/spirituality… there's no fooling ourselves there), should be involved in civil unions and NOT marriage. It's the fact that the term "marriage" has become bastardized and cheapened over the centuries and it's about time that we reverse this bastardization and make it as pure as we can.
Hey Perez… PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE move on! Every single person in this world does NOT have the same opinion as you on this subject! Jeez, this is getting so old already - you have made your point loud and clear for days on end, WE GOT IT! Please respect others, be an adult, have some integrity and character and stop the name calling etc. Your audience would be alot more willing to listen to what you had to say if you said it in a MATURE way!
Dude is in major gayface denial!
Another negative situation to add to Alabama's list.
Well I was born and have lived all my life in the great state of Alabama. I am very proud of it too ,yet not so much when we have douche bags representing my state like so.The bible belt is a bitch to grow up in the middle of because most of the most twisted people I have ever met never miss a Sunday sermon!Live and let live !!!
I'm an Alabama resident and although we all don't agree with the resolution we do agree that everyone is entitled to their opinion. We are lucky enough to live in a society where we can express our opinions without fear of repercussions or government intervention. If this wasn't the case, then the gay community would live in silence. I'm sure that you hold beliefs that others would fine offensive. We all do. However, just because you disagree with Miss California doesn't mean you should degrade her and sabotage her career. At least she was honest, unlike the fake individuals you cover on your site!
Of course gays are equal to heterosexuals under the law, but this is not a matter of law, marriage is a concept of the church. It's hypocritical of Perez to be so anti-heterosexual to those whose opinions differ from his own. He is showing the same discrimination by discriminating against those that have conflicting beliefs.
Re: BennyScrap – BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH… and you still cant help but reply to my comments…..now " bastardization " what a fucking moron you are…
Re: epi – Get OUT !!!!!!!!!! They evicted you because you weren't married????
-
I swear, I'm living in a bubble ~ I didn't have a clue anything that absurd was still legal in the U.S.
-
Oh, oh . . . we have a LONG way to go . . .
-
I'm a straight atheist — maybe I'm next on their list? I'll never do a religious ceremony — but I DO get a marriage license.
-
So, what's the deal? Am I next? Bring it on, haters — I'm intellectually locked and loaded and I'll tell you exactly what you can do if you try to trample my rights.
i'm from alabama and I think love is love!! Equality for all!!!!!!!!
just remember alabama gave the world - George Wallace and was against rights for blacks
Please don't think everyone in Alabama is ignorant! There are a few people here (like me) who love some Perez & totally believe love is love, male&female/ female&female/ male & male. Red & yellow, black & white they are precious in His sight… Love you bebe!!
Re: BennyScrap – BTW…your post didn't originally come from me. My post made a point and the one you posted was fixed to represent you as the true hate filled moron that you are….
( . . . for the bizzilionth time) Of COURSE a person has a right to express their opinion. And I have every right to judge them and their character as a human being based on their opinion.
-
Ms. Calif was not in line to win — and I the only one who thinks she did it for her 15 mins. of fame, and she's milking it for all its worth? Think about it. She'd be a nobody otherwise.
Alabama? I'm really not surprised. But still, excuse me while I go throw up
I live in alabama and most of the people down here are like that.
Ignorant BUT not all.
I have lived all over the world and this is the worst place i have been.
This state disgust me.
Cant wait to move to Spain this summer, about time.
I'm in Mississippi, not Alabama…close enough. And NO, we do not all feel that way. She has a right to her opinion. But she has to live with the consequences for expressing it. Every time I open my mouth, I risk somebody not liking it. That's what happened to her. THAT is free speech in action. If she really lacked freedom of speech, the cops would have beat her door down that night and dragged into a jail cell. They didn't…she expressed an unpopular opinion in a very bumbling, dumb sounding way. She didn't get to be the beauty queen. Big freaking deal. She'll live.
I find it astonishing as an non US citizen that Gay Marriage can be such a big issue in your country. In the UK when Civil Partnerships for gays (which offer exactly the same rights as marriage) were discussed then introduced I can't remember any one really making any big deal about it. Nobody really uses the term Civil partnership here but regards it as marriage. Love is love and gays are entitled to equal rights. The reaction from the religious right in the US is the sort of bigotry you would expect from the Taliban in Afganistan. Get over it and start putting your 'christianity' into practice and celebrate love in all its forms. Jesus would if he was here.
well it IS Alabama… I lived there for a year… I wouldn't call them progressive.
First of all, I would like to say that I'm from Alabama and it is a fantastic place to be from. I cannot deny that these new measures are entirely wasteful and probably just a ploy by Jay Love to get some momentum and recognition in what clearly has proven to be a controversial subject. What purpose does any government have supporting a Miss USA's answer….whether it was for or against gay-marriage? It doesn't and Alabama is being absurd by treating this as a legitimate political issue. It isn't as though anytime a person says they are against gay marriage that Alabama passes a bill to support them so why Miss California? However, I would just like to say, that if Miss California had been supportive of gay-marriage, in no way, shape or form, would this kind of a backlash have been created. I think it is a shame that she has been condemned for practicing freedom of speech. It doesn't matter what you think, you are entitled to your opinion. It isn't right that people cannot say what they feel because it might be deemed "offensive". Perez has undoubtedly insulted and offended countless people so stop being a hypocrite. Like I said, it is fine that she didn't win, but it shouldn't have been such a big deal that she gave the answer that she did. I just think everyone is entitled to their own opinion and should be able to speak their mind…at this rate everything anybody says is going to be deemed "offensive".
Re: Dr Dave – Re: BennyScrap – I couldn't disagree with that. If nature itself had a consciousness, then it would be rational for it to throw in homosexuality (especially now) to curb our ability to grow in number.
Re: stop crying – Actually there was nothing moronic about that particular statement.
Next time, when you try calling someone a moron, tell them why, so you don't seem like one.
Leviticus 18:22
"Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman, that is detestable"
no not everyone from alabama feels that way, i am from alabama, and would say that the majority of the state is probably anti-gay marriage, but not necessarily anti-gay people. i personally believe that civil unions should be available for anyone who wants them, in order to discontinue depriving americans of the rights guaranteed to them. a person should not be deprived of important rights because of their sexual orientation.
PARTS OF ALABAMA STILL HAVE SEGREGATED PROMS…APPARENTLY IT'S SOMETHING IN THEIR SWEET TEA.
Hell No! I'm from Montgomery and I've heard shit like this before. Trust me I wouldn't be surprised if Mr. Jay Love has a gay scandal of his own pop up sometime soon. I mean come on, does anybody remember homophobe Troy King?
Gosh, I hope they are not all as ignorant as they are represented. People need to understand that they don't have to agree with it, they just have to be open to EQUALITY
JAY LOVE SUCKED MY DICK ON MY LAST VISIT TO BIRMINGHAM….AND HE WASN'T VERY GOOD AT IT FRANKLY. HE TOLD ME HIS DADDY'S INSTRUCTIONS WERE HARD TO UNDERSTAND BECAUSE HIS FATHER ALWAYS GRIPPED HIS EARS SO HARD HE COULDN'T REALLY UNDERSTAND HIM. WELL…THAT'S ALABAMA FOR YOU!!!!!!
couldnt they get somebody to do this paperwork that doesnt look gay ??
Re: JSYyoung – you queers need to stay in the closet for the kids sake.
Just to see his retarded face is enough!
Re: aubrncntry93 – you can't lie with a man as you would with a woman. we have different holes.
sorry i couldn't resist
UGH!!! Not all of us in Alabama feel this way!! Jay Love is an FUCKING IDIOT!! Ugh….I need a cocktail!!
Re: KEEFER – Right, so the kids don't see it, and they are intolerant of it. Right?
So that kids like the two that have commited suicide in the last few weeks, continue to be ridiculed to the point of suicide.
.
Whether we like it or not, we, as a people, are evolving. Now so much physically, but emotionally. What sentiments would you like to be part of the new evolution? Those of hatred and intolerance, or those of compassion and good-will?
Hello,
I am a 63 year old resident of Prattville, Alabama a suburb of Montgomery, Alabama. My family and I were very much in the minority during the last presidental election. We supported Obama. We are white, university educated professionals. This put us even more in the minority. I think it is a basic civil right for consenting adults to marry whom they want regardless of gender. I think there should be seperation of church and state. Alabama is the state that had the big uproar several years ago over the removeal of the ten comandments plaque in the rotunda of the state capitol. Many candidates for public office run on the platform of conservative, christian values. Most locals loved Sara Palin. I could go on and on. Not all residents of Alabama suport Jay Love and his cronies, but the vast majority do.
"Jay Love" is such an unfortunate name for a bigot.
Jay Love? I prefer GAY LOVE!
Perez, why don't you replay the presidential debates? Didn't President Obama say he was against gay marriage?
Okay…so I hate to admit I'm from Alabama but I am. I left there as soon as I could get away to attend college. Anyways…this disgusts me. This kind of crap is why I refuse to go back there. Ignorant people…
yeah, mario. YOU, YOURSELF give gays a bad name by the name callings and shit, immature ass
NOOOOOOOOOOOO…everyone in Alabama does NOT feel that way!!!!!!! I told you this already, Perez!
F Jay Love. I go to school in Alabama but am from Atlanta with I believe one of the top gay populations in the country (you should have seen the Kathy Griffin show here…I've never seen so many well-dressed gentlemen in my life!). A lot of my friends from Alabama are not closed-minded, but some are. Just as they are in other states. I apologize for his behavior…someone has to!
Wow the southern republican trash and the uneducated minorities are always homophobic and for anyone here to approve of this bigot's behavior is alarming and sad and quite frankly pathetic. This guy just makes Alabama look more like the cesspool thats always fought civil rights. Oh and Perez I'm glad that you exposed this shrill hatemongering Miss California.because someone so bigoted should never represent this state let alone this country, because half of the people in this country find her nauseating, and with that huge honkin nose of hers ,she was never going to win. Keep up the good work Perez.
why should miss calif. be penalized for not lying when she doesn't believe in
cornholeing, and other perverted acts. get YOUR act togeather.
Jenny from the Texas Cesspool, your state is disgusting and its where all white trash bigots belong.
Re: War_Eagle1010 – YAY, War Eagle!
It is absolutely ridiculous that they would waste time and money on a resolution such as this! Besides, there is more scriptures in the bible mentioning divorce! And, history has taught us that people have used the bible to justify horrendous and discrimatory actions. I am truly disgusted! God loves everyone and doesn't choose certain people to love while ignoring others. It is hypocritical to sit there and profess to be a Christian but then treat others with such contempt and disrespect. If you do that, you do not believe truly in the principals of the bible which encourages love for all, forgiveness, and being a good person. Do you really think you are a good person if you attack others regardless of their beliefs or life choices?
you hypocrite. gays should be equal but if you dont believe that your below everyone else? your dumb.
growing up in AL with AL values made me who I am today. I absolutely SUPPORT GAY MARRIAGE. I think part of the problem is the stigma of "GAY"…let's call gays "lovers" instead of gays (perhaps that would be less confusing for people so idiotic and ignorant)…then maybe the judgers will look in the mirror and realize we are not all that different in our quest for a deservingly happy life. Power to the People and Peace for all!
So the conservative southern republican trash online here approves of the ugly miss California's freedom of speech in support of taking away freedoms from gays, how nice and what a lesson of tolerance we learn from the bigoted trash on the right and the homophobes, they say more freedom of speech to those against gays, wow Hitler and the KKK must be proud of this trash. This scumbag Miss California lost becaus she had a hard look and the other girl was much much prettier . Not only was miss Californias answer mumbled ,all over the place and factually incorrect she could-nt have enough grace to make her point in a gentile way and had to be crass hard and yes bigoted. She is no miss Usa.
AN OPEN LETTER TO PEREZ HILTON,
I have been a fan of your gossip for awhile now. Before you Perez, I was never on the internet. I tolerate your bias, and laugh at your peen's on microphones. What I can not tolerate is your MLK quotes, in my opinon equating his fight to yours. Please do not critize grammar, because once again I always tolerate yours. I think you've let things go to your head, and instead of being someone normal amongst Hollywood, you've become Hollywood. Please, for the love of God, chill. Also, jezebel.com did a jj piece on you, you should totally check it out.
ughh. I am unfortunately (at this moment) from Alabama. I absolutely abhor that this was acutally considered and passed. I am ashamed.
Prez Perez… Not everyone will agree with you. And you shouldn't judge them for having their own opinions. I don't support gay marriage but have plenty of gay friends. I'm not stupid, or a biggot, or a homophob, it's just MY opinion. Just like you have yours, I have mine. You are putting yourself out there as the authority on gay marriage so don't do yourself a disfavour by pissing everyone off.
That is all.
Why is it that if you are against gay marriage you are then labeled a right wing bigot homophobe. I just don't get it. Do you people even know what homophobe means??? This word just gets tossed around just to get back at someone and call them nasty names. Enough with the name calling. I am against gay marriage. Does that make me a homophobe? Absolutely not!!! I am not afraid of gays, which is actually the true meaning of the word, for those people (gays) who don't have enough intellect to understand that. Miss California gave an honest answer. You people need to grow up and understand that other people have viewpoints that are not necessarily something you would agree with. Everyone has a viewpoint, whether you disagree with it or not. So stop the bickering and childish remarks, and just deal with it.
OMG! Ignorance is still prevelant in todays world? Seriously lets keep pretending we are shocked. really? OK.
Go "Bama!!! I'm sick of the gay agenda. Grow up children. PEREZ IS A HATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PEREZ IS A HATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PEREZ IS A HATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PEREZ IS A HATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PEREZ IS A HATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PEREZ IS A HATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PEREZ IS A HATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PEREZ IS A HATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lucky he's straight
cant imagine any self respecting gay sleeping with him
nice face dork
Though majority of Alabama probably do support him, I certainly don't. The one thing I hate about being an Alabamian is having the conservative stereotype. We can be so backwards at times…*sigh*
isnt it ironic that alabama was also a state that was against equal civil rights during the 60s and 70s? deja vu????
Of course they all feel that way in Alabama, Perez!
Of course they believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman who are closely related.
Re: beerussin – actually its coincidental. Not ironic.
ABSOLUTELY NOT! I live in Alabama. Born and Raised. The only people that I know that feel this way about same sex marriages are the effin politicians. They are the reason we get such a bad reputation to begin with. They need to get with the times and try to move WITH the curve, not two hundred years behind it.
you know Perez, you are SO rude! I agree with Miss California 100% and she is my new idol. the things that you do on this website are just so mean. you give a BAD NAME to all other gay people by the way you act and treat others. your nothing special. get over it. i've lost ALL of my respect for you. going around and calling people a whore or a bitch is cruel and ridiculous. you know, Miss California represents the state YOU live in too. so i guess your calling yourself a bitch as well as EVERYONE else who lives in this GREAT state.. besides, if the people in California wanted gay marriage to be legal, THEY WOULD HAVE ALREADY VOTED FOR IT!! they had the chance, TWICE and BOTH times it lost. so shut the hell up! it's not going to happen.
fuck alabama
