So Britney may have intruded on Pink’s circus-themed concept (Pink’s Funhouse hit stores prior to Britney’s Circus), but she’s doing better than BritBrit in the ex-husband department!
Like Britney’s current Circus tour, Pink’s first headlining tour in the US later this year features the same sort of spectacle. But while Britney is about the lip-synching and the dancing, Pink is all about the music, in what she describes as “two hours of group therapy.”
And, unlike Brit Brit, it looks like Pink is successfully reconciling with ex-husband Carey Hart, saying that the pair is “definitely back together.”
She adds that she is not really concerned with “remarrying” because “we never really legally got divorced. Paperwork for both of us is really annoying (laughs). So we’re choosing to be together. Our role models are Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon and Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn – people who just choose to be together every day because they want to be there. And labels have never been our thing, so, we’re just diving into that empty swimming pool, headfirst” referring to her advice to simply “dive in” to love.
And even though things are better with Hart, she says that when it comes to performing the seemingly vengeful songs off of her latest album, she says that the situation is “still silly, it’s still funny, I still have anger. It’s really easy to just be right back there. … I don’t have a hard time transplanting myself straight back to that moment.”
