Well, whaddya know? Nadya Suleman is being slapped with a major law$uit!
Once you cross infamous famewhoring lawyer Gloria Allred, there's no telling what sort of legal dramz you're in store for!
Allred, on behalf of her client, former child actor and advocate for child labor rights Paul Petersen, is suing the Octo-Mom for "exploiting" her Octo-Army!
The Z-list lawyer is claiming that by allowing the media to film her infants for $$$, Suleman is violating child labor laws!!!
Says Allred, "Rather than choosing to provide her children with a normal life, Nadya Suleman, has chosen instead to commercially exploit them, and it appears she plans to continue commercial exploitation of them in the future as well."
Specifically, Suleman allowed a crew to film the homecoming of two of the eight babies from the hospital from 10 p.m. until 11:50 p.m. on March 17th.
"Since she has chosen this path, we believe that the babies are entitled to remuneration," preached Allred.
Gloria and the former child actor want to set up advocate - of their choosing - to look after the welfare of the octuplets and make sure the money Nadya is making off them is put for them in a trust.
What's the next move for the Octo-Mom??
Octo-Lawyers are currently hard at work devising a way to legally claim the filming of the tots is protected under the first amendment!!

allred at this point is going overboard-she is suing because there was no teacher on the set because a teacher would ensure that the 'set was safe'. She is treating octomom as a sitcom and wants to make sure that money is invested for the children for later on. the thing is, first reality shows fall into a news category, 2nd-if they did get it qualified as a 'sitcom, working set, etc.' of the money she receives, a salary would have to be set for each child, of that, by law, only 15% would have to be put away until the child reaches maturity. 3rd if the lawsuit wins, this will be a problem for all these other 'reality' shows that film in CALIFORNIA ONLY-(jon and kate are in pennslyvania or another eastern state. ) So Discovery Health, TLC-would they shoot any birth show in CA anymore? -this whole thing will probably be dismissed in court. anyhoo, gloria really has a stick up her ass in regard to octomom-hey nadia-you really pissed off the wrong pitbull!

John & Kate can get away with exploiting their kids because the laws are different from state to state people! The protection for child performers in California is why Octomom doesn't have a realty show. I think Allred loves the media way more than Suleman. Allred is always sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. There are thousands of cases out there of child abuse with ordinary citizens that she can pursue, but noooo she jumps on the ones of people of notoriety to bring attention to her ugly mug. I can not stand OctoMom - I think she is vile, disgusting and an outrageously unfit Mother, but if Allred (she's getting on my nerves too) and Petersen go after Nadya, they had better go after Jon & Kate, Table for 12 and all the other Franken-litter programs out there too. OctoMom is a terrible parent, but sadly, she is NOT the only one out there!

I really don't see how it "exploits" kids to have people take videos of them for an hour and a half. What parent doesn't do that themselves, regardless of whether someone pays them for the video or not? They're infants - Geez!
