Last month, the director of Russia’s famous State Hermitage Museum gave permission to have Madonna perform a concert on Palace Squares this August.
Madge will be touring Europe on her Sticky & Sweet tour, which starts back up July 4th in London.
A promoter from Planet Plus said that “Hermitage Director Mikhail Piotrovsky signed the documentation allowing the concert by Madonna on Dvortsovaya Ploshchad (Palace Square). All requirements for holding concerts on Dvortsovaya Ploshchad have been met.”
However…..
Director Piotrovsky also requested that Madonna guarantee her concert wouldn’t contain any swearing or blasphemy and is said to have expressed doubts as to whether Palace Square, in the heart of St. Petersburg, would be the best spot for the concert.
The St. Petersburg’s culture committee already gave her Madjesty approval for the concert, which is expecting to bring in about 50,000 fans.
However, some local authorities are still outraged at the idea and have called the event a “natural disaster.”
Oh hush!
There’s nothing disastrous about Madonna, except for that shiteous outfit with the bunny ears.
