Paula Abdul is claiming there’s absolutely no truth to the story in the June issue of Ladies Home Journal detailing her battle with addiction!

According to LHJ, Abdrool struggled with weening herself off the medications prescribed to treat her chronic pain. The mag even QUOTED Paula as saying, “I could have killed myself├óΓé¼┬ªWithdrawal ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ it├óΓé¼Γäós the worst thing.”
Paula called into WKQI’s Mojo in the Morning in Detroit Thursday morning to clear the air!
“I’ve never checked into a rehab clinic. I’ve never been addicted or abused drugs, and I’ve never been addicted or abused alcohol. I’ve never even been drunk in my life,” stated Abdul.
And what about the Idol judge’s stay at La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California last fall to detox from the hardcore pain meds??
“It’s a spa. I was there for almost three days having fun doing spa stuff. It’s not a clinic. It’s not a detox place. It’s a luxurious spa. It’s like taking a mini vacation. I just wanted to chill out and get massages and maybe a manicure and pedicure.”
By the looks of the La Costa website, Abdrool appears to be telling the truth!! About that.
We still think she was a mayjah pill-popper. Or still is!
