Rev Run's Son Caught With Pot

Rev Run's 19-year-old son, Joseph Simmons Jr., was arrested Friday night for being dumb with the Mary Jane.
Simmons, known as JoJo on Run's House, forgot to look over his shoulder when he got the good stuff from his dealer and sat in his car rolling a joint.
As the cops approached, Simmons tried to flee, but put his car in reverse and almost hit the police car.

well he is just a normal boy at the end of the day, but he needs to remember he is a role model for alot of impressionable young boys.

You know, he's human and sometimes people need to learn the hard way. I don't know what you get out of this Perez, but I'm not gonna sit here and make fun of the situation and blame the patents. Parents can try so hard to raise their children right but once they are adults, they make their own choices and have no one to blame but themselves. I still think he comes from a wonderful family…Nobody's perfect.

i always knew he was like this when the cameras weren't on him. his parents are probably FURIOUS with him right now given the whole 'we love jesus' act they put on all the time.
I don't know anything aboout this family, but the fact that his father is in the priestood makes me think this was a no no? He's 19 for God's sake, ALL teenagers smoke pot at some stage. He just happened to get caught and his father is a celebrity.
I smoked at that age.I grew up near Berkeley though. Everyone smokes. I never see it as a problem.

Not sure what the solution would be here, but it's not indicative of how capable you are as a parent. We all make our own choices, beginning somewhere around 8yo.
