The company that was planning Michael Jackson's tour alongside sister Janet Jackson and the rest of their siblings has issued a cease and desist on preparations for Jacko's upcoming London residency at the O2 Arena, which kicks off in July..
Back in November 2008, Jacko's manager signed a deal that promised his appearance in a family tour. As part of the deal, Michael was to refrain from any other concert deals for the following 18 months.
The O2 concerts violate the terms of the deal!
Jackson's defense is saying that MJ himself never signed the family tour deal, but that his manager did it, possibly without his knowledge. However, a manager is authorized to act on behalf of their client. And it's legally binding.

Frank Dileo worked with Michael Jackson late 80's and early 90's.
Is he even on MJ-camp? Michael and Janet have both SEVERAL times said that they will NOT do a family tour. All of his brothers/sisters have stepped out in public to wish MJ the best and said they will all attend his shows in London and support him.

i dont know if his family would screw him over like this, yes theyve always tried to make money off his status but theyve always been incredibly supportive of him publicly and (i presume) privately.
i just read in another article on this story that the "manager" in question is frank dileo, who apparently hasnt worked for MJ in at least 8 years, so he couldnt possibly have been able to sign a legally binding contract
not to mention the fact that mj had always suggested he was preparing to do a world tour but had always insisted it would definitely NOT be with his family
whatever the case may be, i hope they get it all sorted out, for the sake of O2 and the ticket buyers, not to mention mj himself

AEG will not give up easily. They have so much invested in this. IF Mj did breach a contract, fine sue him.. but why on earth, try to stop the shows since he would most likely NOT do any kind of family tour. Its bogus.

First of all, why is this the first time we are hearing that there "was" a signed deal for a Jackson Family Tour. I mean, as soon as the deal was signed, wouldn't "All Good Entertainment" have made a BIG announcement.
Secondly, when Tito was recently on a television program in the U.K., he spoke of "maybe" being invited on stage with MJ at the O2? So my question is, why didn't Tito say anything about the supposed "family tour." How come Janet hasn't said anything about a "family tour?" yeah your probably right i know nothing about legal stuff and contracts etc,but i definitely smell a rat here, although the lesser known jacksons had hinted that they would like to tour as a family again,neither janet nor michael said they wanted to tour or perform, and michael made it totally clear that he wasnt goin to perform with the family
either way i hope to God they get it sorted out asap for the sake of michael, the fans and the O2, as well as the reports that his concerts will help lift london out of the credit crunch- something we really need at the moment!
im wondering though if this report has or will affect ticket sales on the 2nd hand market atm,coz i must admit i sure wouldnt wana buy a ticket right now if id just read this report,not until id heard official statements from both sides

Michael never signed a contract b/c there was never a show to begin with. And you saw the comment I posted from Michael right? That comment was made by him last year when the media was talking about this "concert" with his siblings. I'm telling you this story is yet another recycled sensationilized lie by the media. This is false! Michael was just in London yesterday (I'm sure he was more then likely getting his London home situated or preparing for the shows) if you go on 02 arena's website Michael's concert calender is still the same and still reads SOLD OUT for every date. two contracts and agreements were signed by December 1, 2008 by Frank Dileo and parties relating to Dileo's agency and AllGood Entertainment's agency. None of these contracts bare any signature of the Jacksons, nor has there been any confirmation that the Jackson siblings are aware of these concert-related plans. Even within the proposal that detailed at length the expenses, profits, and plans of each artist, there are no direct quotes from any of the Jacksons themselves to bring credence to the proposal. After reviewing many documents and communications regarding this conflict, MJJR.net does not believe that the dispute between Frank Dileo and AllGood Entertainment will have any negative impact on AEG and the O2 concerts.

With no signatures or authorization by Michael Jackson within the contracts between Frank Dileo and AllGood Entertainment, and seemingly just one online Web site referencing that Frank Dileo had any involvement with AEG, there does not appear to be much legal cause for concern over the O2 concerts.
Had Michael's ex manager from yrs. ago (Frank Dileo) signed any paperwork then he signed paperwork without not only MJ's approval but obviously none of MJ's siblings had any clue about this apparent "deal" either.

Remember that incident from a couple post ago people?? The one where Michael was apparently being sued for a car accident that wasn't even his fault?? Apparently MJ's driver hit a parked ambulence and the driver suffered "whiplash" as well as a broken mirror. Wonder why the truth about that incident hasn't been brought up. Anything positive regarding Michael never gets posted.. That's not fair. Well anyways the paramedic dropped the suit and had this to say:

cirque de soleil-style aerial acrobatics… AEG are saying its gona be the most among the most expensive concerts shows ever staged-he says "north of 20 million dollars"! and their using up to 22 different sets! and that michaels gona sing round 18 songs(think it said 18 lol sorry iv a poor memory lol)and also he(AEG) confirms their are gona be NO! live animals-another stupid rumour thank fuck!

im actually saving for a A2 ticket if poss-keeping an eye on ebay and viagogo for any ones round the £200-300 mark-not even VIP A2s,cause thats as much as ican afford, other than that if i save enough i might jus buy some of the not so good seats for 2 or 3 other dates

Re: mj fan 60 – Not really her tour Sticky and Sweet has been and will continue to be more successful than his will be. It's too bad no one would buy his tickets in America anymore LMAO! He will outshine Madonna as soon as he can stay relevant and have another hit! And "You are not alone" doesn't count. I used to be a serious fan. I remember watching his show at Madison Square Garden and think that it was NOTHING compared to how he used to perform and also his deranged appearance scared me! He started to slow down back then and NOW I can only imagine. It's so sad he is such a waste of talent and yet still goes around thinking people worship him. He is a true tragedy. Good luck with his Greatest Hits tour though!
