The President feels the same way about marriage….and he's still the President. Get over it. Bet next time you think before you ask a loaded question….if you're EVER asked to judge again. You showed more a** than any one of the girls in the swimsuit catagory ever showed!!!

I do not understand why so many people come on here to talk bad about Perez or slew rude comments… hello it is HIS site! Go somewhere else if you don't like him… and by the way even though Miss California kept her crown she does not represent all of us in California including myself. I am a heterosexual married woman, and I do not fault her for answering the question honestly or for her opinion; however she has isolated many Californians now by going on such a vigilant attack against same sex marriage… a state title holder should represent all of California and its diversity and acceptance not only her personal opinion.

Perez, I love your site & read it every day. But she is RIGHT. She stated an honest opinion, her own beliefs. She did not say anyone else must believe the same as her. The photos of her are not big deal. And if they took her crown away they must take away the other girl who appeared in Maxim, or else it would be a double standard. I'm proud of her for standing up and sticking with her beliefs, and she forgave you Perez. I still luv u, but it is now time to leave her alone.

First of all, you showed your lack of professionalism by trying to trip her up with such a question to start with. (That should not have even been a plausible question for the competition.) Second, you showed your lack of ethics because her answer to your specific question was what drove your vote. Last, you showed your immaturity and insecurity by making such a big issue out of the whole situation.
Hate crimes go both ways whether the bill passed in congress says so or not. Gay people can hate just as much as straight people and can be wrong and react wrong in their actions because of that hatred. You simply proved this fact once again…….. Action accomplishes so much more than a reaction!

I have gay friends, I live in boystown, and attend the gay pride parade. I think that life is to short to judge ANYONE. Gay marriage isn't pointless any more than straight marraige is. (feralix) Straights can get married 52 times, once every weekend in vegas if they wanted to, but two men or women can't do it once. Straight people have made a mockary out of marraige so why do we want to hold on to something we clearly don't respect ourselves.

What's really sad about this is that, while she has a great point– that we all have to agree to disagree on some things– she has the delusion that those freedoms and that constitution that her grandfather fought for only belong to the religious majority.
