you ought to stay out of celebrities lives and let them be. everyone who is against gay marriage and even those who think that being gay is a sickness from the mind (i also share that opinion and i believe that being gay is abnormal) have the right to say what they want when they want to whom they want. people like you have no right to scold people for asking them their most sincere opinions!

One would think that the buzz of your participation would be enough, but you have delivered continued media coverage for this organization. Bravo to you, my dear media genius! I wasn't so much appalled by her opinion, but rather her delivery which was awkward and uncomfortable to watch. Well, it is certainly NOT a surprise that America is STILL NOT READY FOR rights for gays as they are such low-life scum as a general rule (AND THIS BLOG CERTAINLY DEMONSTRATES THAT FACT). When they get some morals (highly unlikely) and learn how to treat others as they would be treated (and not create gain for themselves at someone else's expense) then their karma might actually allow them some of the PRIVILEGES they want. I absolutely agree that marriage should be a right granted to both gay and straight couples, but I think if someone doesn't agree with this they should have the right to their opinion. Their opinion, however, shouldn't deny marriage for others. This whole Carrie Prejean incident has been very unfortunate, and is a step in the wrong direction. If this is her first interaction with a gay person she has definitely got the wrong idea. Being attacked and berated for her beliefs did not change her mind, it only made her cling to them more strongly. And now she is convinced that God has helped her through this whole "firestorm". Your actions have had the opposite effect of your intent to raise awareness. This publicity stunt has likely turned many people off to you and the cause. For shame.

Perez I'm sure you won't see this comment but I hope that you do as I would like to know what you think of my comments. First and foremost I want you to know that I am not against gay marriage and believe that in this day and age it is important for people regardless of their orientation to be happy and for everyone to be treated as equals. That being said I also feel that everyone has the right to their opinion (which I am expressing right now) as well as their beliefs without being attacked. You feel strongly about same sex marriage, just as she feels about her religious beliefs. By you ridiculing her, you are doing what you felt she was doing to you. It is all a vicious circle. If we allowed people to express how they felt without having to make them feel like a criminal and actually talked about it maybe we would all learn what acceptance really means.
