The National Enquirer Takes Advantage Of Brooke Shield's Mother!!
The National Enquirer have never been known for being the most reputable tabloid, but the stunt they pulled on Thursday was downright disgusting!
According to Brooke Shields, two reporters from the Enquirer checked her mentally ill mother out of an assisted living facility in Old Tappan, New Jersey - without her permission, obviously!!!
Explained Shields:
My mother Teri Shields has been diagnosed with dementia. For her safety, she has temporarily been in a senior living facility, a very difficult decision for me. Late Thursday afternoon, I was alerted by Old Tappan Police that my mother had been signed out of the facility by two reporters of the National Enquirer… who falsely claimed they were friends of hers.
Taking advantage of the mentally ill, fellas???
Smooth move!
Brooke continued:
They then drove my 75-year-old mother around looking for a tabloid story. As anyone knows who has a parent who suffers from dementia or Alzheimer's, it is one of the most difficult experiences you can go through as a son or daughter. The idea that the National Enquirer took advantage of her state is reprehensible and disgusting.
We couldn't have said it any better ourselves.
Shields is planning on taking "every lawful action against all who were involved or who authorized this despicable act," and rightfully so!
Police are currently investigating who at the facility allowed Brooke's mother to be signed out by the Enquirer.

MUAH!!!!
Sheba
Indeed and undoubtably appalling behaviour by that low-down DIRTY RAG!
Re: Tinalouise – I don't know for sure but I'm thinking that a seniors living facility is like assisted living it is not Long Term Care. My mom and dad are both in assisted living facilities. They get medical care if needed, all their meals are provided, the laundry and housekeeping is done but they can come and go as they please. In my mom's wonderful place lots of residents have dementia but still step outside for a walk or go out with friends and family. While it's terrible what the NE did in a regular seniors building or assisted living the staff would not be responsible for residents leaving the building under normal circumstances.
Just when you think the paps have sunk as far as possible- something like this happens. I dont know what else to say.

Re: LG HEARTS THE POSSE! – OXOX
As local reporter myself, that is unethnical and unprofessional. Brooke needs to put her foot down and persue this legally. And to the nursing home, Brooke should look into the security of that nursing home as well.
That is absolutely terrible - times like these you need violence. Here's what you do Brooke, go get a hammer and beat their fucking heads in, bastards deserve to be taught a lesson.
