Internet Sensation Susan Boyle Returns To Britain's Got Talent - and UNDERWHELMS!
After weeks and weeks of auditions, global phenom Susan Boyle was once again competing on the stage of Britain's Got Talent.
Yes, she's got a new makeover. Yes, she just made it through to the finals. But, unfortunately, her performance was too measured and lackluster. It lacked passion and that spark that made her a viral superstar in the first place.
That's what we think, at least.
What do U think????

Thoughts????

Re: G-Star – WHAT??? Your "writing??" is virtually impossible to follow….Is English your second language?? If it IS your second language, I'll let it slide…If English is your first language…well, then…go back to elementary school or SOMETHING!! It's damn near impossible to follow what you are TRYING to get across!!!! Jeez!!
Oh, yeah…WHATEVER, Perez!! How can you say that her performance was "underwhelming" and "lackluster??" You're nuts! She sounded beautiful…as always! Like you could do any better - or get even CLOSE for that matter! For crying out loud - SIMON GAVE HER A STANDING OVATION!!! That (in of ITSELF) says it ALL!! How many times have you seen Simon give ANYONE a standing ovation??? It's RARE and has only done it a FEW times when it is deserved! He wouldn't have given her a standing O if she was 'underwhelming" or even "lackluster!" And, he's a better judge than you, me, or any of us!!! DUH!
she needs to enjoy it for as long as it lasts
Re: allykisskiss – Heh, all I was thinking was that suddenly so many folks appear to be experts in singing and are quick to knock. If you're a trained singer you're in a different position
Its amazing how many people think they CAN actually sing (just have to look at the auditions)… Its one thing to know how something should sound or the emotion that should be heard in it. It's quite another to remark on how easy it is to sing… I can sing like a superstar in the shower…. or something *rolls eyes to the ceiling*. Truthfully, if I sang happy birthday I'd put people off their cake! (I'd probably do the same singing it in the shower but thats a whole different thread lol). So ultimately I thought she did well but, not being trained or acquaint with that style of music, who am i to judge? Without saying you were classically trained I just thought "here's another one"… so, my bad… I take that back
(plus, if id tun a skoit at de profile and seen du wis fae scotland afore I wrote - i'd have bigged up da scottish massiiiive! Heeeeeehaw!)
Mario, you dumb fat ass, she has a MUCH better voice than your dumb whore hero, Madonna. Susan was ANAZING!
Who cares if not as many people showed up or whatever. She's still amazing
she was still fab just not as good as before, but this is a different song and she had less time to work on it,
Memory is a very hard song to sing well, it demands a heck od a range. I think she hit a note or two off but she finished well. can we have a video of you singing Perez, because anyone can be a critic but it takes guts to open yourself up to the critics of the woed.
What does it take to impress you boy?
She started off shaky but thats not surprisingly considering the pressure shes under. keep doing ur thing susan!
I THINK THE FACT U THINK IT WAS UNDERWHELMING SHOWS HOW THICK YOU AMERICANS ARE INTO MAKING SO MUCH HYPE OUT OF HER! DAMN SHE'S A LOVELY HUMAN BEING WITH A GREAT GIFT, SHW DID AMAZING!
Just a little nervous at the beginning. She still has an exquisite voice though
i agree with you, it seems all the attention has made her a bit more self aware/ self conscious and she appeared to be holding back.
I think you are a dipshit and a bit dumb. Unless you are trying to be controversial with negative comments. So it was not the best , but her worst seems to be most peoples best. Besides she seemed to be a bit nervous.
What do I think? I think if I'd been a nobody who suddenly was the most famous person on Earth, that the next time I had to step on stage, I'd be just a BIT NERVOUS too. I think she was terrified - but still gave a remarkable performance. She has a unique quality that just makes everyone want to be quiet and listen to her; she moves people deeply with her singing. That uniqueness is why she is going to continue being a star; and it's the thing that so many psuedo-stars that are created artifically lack.
Her only bung note was the first one otherwise it was flawless. To sing a song that Barbra Streisand made famous and pull it off just as well is a real feat!
I loved it
she was nervous — put her back in the old dress and tattered pumps, mess her hair, add the bushy eyebrows and throw her back out there — THEN she will be able to BRING IT. Long live SuBo!!!!!!!
And the clock is striking around 10 minutes.
I think she must have been so nervous that she could barely walk. Imagine the kind of pressure she's under to be stunningly wonderful every minute. This is a woman who's never really been out of her home town and has a learning disability to boot. Let's give her a break.
I want her to win so that I Dreamed A Dream doesn't continue to be her own story.
She was GREAT! What are you talking about Perez???
"Underwhelmed"……. Give her a break. Her first time out, no one expected anything to come out of her mouth. Since then, she has been under a microscope. Not perfect, but you do better! The woman has a beautiful voice!! Why do you have to be such a bitch????? I know positive reinforcement doesn't sell, but do you have a heart?
She started a little nervous, but the audience loved her and so do I. Did you SEE some of the other acts? Not what you want performing in front of the Queen.
Speaking of the Queen, has anyone ever seen Susan and QEII in the same room together?! Perhaps they're the same person?? Hee hee.
It sounded almost like she was under performing on purpose.
Ughh..who would ever buy a CD she did? I mean seriously! This is some shit the music teacher would have made us listen to in school way back in the day!!….ughhhhhhhhhh
As you said Perez - underwhelming. very.
Hey, the woman has a hell of a lot of pressure. Let's not be too quick to kick her.
She is very talented and now totaly screwed up and nervy because of to much mediashit.
i liked her at the beginning but whenever she's been on tv since then, she has this smug look on her face, like everyone watching her should bow. i think the fame has gone to her head, now she thinks shes sexy and keeps wiggling her hips even more "convincingly" it's gross, and one performance shouldn't get her into the final, because the second performance was second rate.
So no one else realized that you're an idiot and if you click that link, you said the title of the song is "Momories"? You might wanna change that, Perez. Y'know, before anyone notices. They might think you're a ridiculous excuse for a blogger or whatever you are. I mean.. if they haven't already, which is honestly hard to believe with how often you misspell words or fuck up your grammar. (:
I'll admit she got off to a shaky start, but she definately hit her stride and was completely fabulous. Why do you have to be down on her Perez?
i agree perez…
shes overrated
i thought she was excellent, she started a little bad but once she got into it she was really good (:
Phenom voice — dated song choice …. I'd still listen to her sing names from a phone book
Not very good
I've heard the original from the Broadway show recordings….honestly that one is quite more painful to hear and yes, it is a hard song to sing for anyone, even a professional. I liked it….off key in some parts yes but she still has an amazing voice.
Re: MILEY CYRUS…THE PRINCESS OF THE WORLD – what the eff is wrong with you. slutty does not and will never have a powerful vocie like this ass hole.tween shit
very nice
she is the most overrated person ever. if she wins, it'll be a travesty, cuz shes the most annoying person, flawless and shaun smith are both waaaaay better than her put together.
i feel sorry for her. for the first time, i just watched a video clip of her on youtube. and she is overrated indeed!! needs 2 lose weight and get makeover.
She started off a bit shakey, probably nervouse, but it gave me goose bumps! So I'd she still has it.
i think she is a great singer its just the shock is gone out of it that people got the first time and now they expect it to be perfect.shes a great singer and enjoys it its not about all the other bullshit for her, shes just happy she makes it through the song, shes such a normal down to earth woman.this is what a real armature singing competition is.
I like her. She did seem nervous! But, I think once she is polished she will be
a great singer! And, by polish I mean getting used to performing in front of
other people and having an act. I think she is great.
Sick of her now. Can't turn on the news or open a newspaper without seeing her face. Don't know why America is so in love with Susan Boyle; Britain is getting bored of her.
This performance was not great.
You can tell that she's sick…
She did pretty good for being sick.
Dang I wanted to see the judges' comments! I say, too much pressure, and a song she didn't want to sing. The end was great. The beginning was beyond bad
