In a profile in the new issue of The New York Times Magazine, Rachel Zoe does the unthinkable - she insults Vogue editrix Anna Wintour.
Oh, yes she did!
Says Zoe, "Anna Wintour is one of my heroes, but they say that I’m more influential. As great as it is, Vogue won’t change a designer’s business. But if an unknown brand is worn by a certain person in a tabloid, it will be the biggest designer within a week. When I worked with Nicole [Richie], there were things that she wore that designers had to remake for another season because there was such demand.’’
It's on!

Bottom line is Rachel Zoe isn't hating on Anna Wintour one bit. She is simply stating the truth about celebrity influence on the fashion world and how much weight that carries…oppose to the old days when Vogue did influence the fashion world heavily.
Zoe isn't knocking Wintour, she is just recognizing the power and influence a stylist has on the fashion industry via her clients.
