Depeche Mode Singer Has Tumor Removed

In a MySpace bulletin, Depeche Mode has just revealed that the interruption in their Tour Of The Universe was the result of a mild medical issue.

Earlier this month lead singer Dave Gahan was hospitalized with a bad case of gastroenteritis, which led to the discovery of a low-grade malignant tumor in his bladder.

Thankfully, the tumor has been successfully removed, but Gahan is under doctor’s orders to rest up until the band resumes its tour June 8th in Leipzig, Germany.
