This is a really well done video, and it reminds me a bit of the music videos of the eighties mixed with some Warholesque imagery. And the song is actually good. You gotta give it to her, whether you hate her or love her, she is pretty creative.

the video has NOTHINGGGG to do with the song. the song is not about the paparazzi. the video is about a bitch who is saying she could be some guys paparazzi and follow him around. she made the album before she decided to transform into this warhol wannabe. its clearly evident as she develops into a crazier character everyday and its clearly evident in this video. the music she is currently bringing forth is a lot different than the music on her actual album. hopefully she is smart and her sophomore album has music with a mostly up-tempo, electro, pop vibe again and not some piano, oldie style crap or else her career will go DOWNNN hill. and you all know it. jessica simpson did pop and went to country. FAIL.

The two remind me of the Madonna/Cindy Lauper unspoken competition of the 80s. Modanna won that battle only because she would pose naked. Lauper's lyrics have always been better. Gaga will show more skin but Katy knows how to write a song.

This is a great video. Definately some signs of "inspiration" from Madonna but she really put a current and unique twist on things. It is a shame that really amazing music videos are not made as often as they used to …. oh im sounding SO old right now. I long for the days of the great David Fincher videos.

The song isn't BAD… it's not fantastic. But the video was bizarre. I struggled to follow it.
It was too messy for my liking, didn't make all that much sense and was just a confusion of arty things that made no impact on me. Not even a good attempt. Sucked in my opinion.
