The youngest hot commodity to come out of the Twilight franchise, Taylor Lautner, is in El Lay doing photoshoots, avoiding the paps, and fielding offers for roles after Twilight is finished.

And, to think, Summit Entertainment almost got rid of this kid!

Now, the 17-year-old hearthrob has been seen meeting with the legendary director Gary Marshall about being cast in one of three of the director’s next films, the biggest of which would be a role in Valentine’s Day, starring heavyweight actors Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Garner, and Ashton Kutcher.
