Love, Love, LOVE Kelly Clarkson! She looks great and sounds awesome. Loved her CD and I agree she looks happy and normal.

Ow, she's chubby now, in a good way though.
Although (this is just me), I would like to see her drop a few pounds, but no biggie; she's healthy, and in a world where a size 0 is the new size 2, that's all you can ask for.

I think she looks great, happy and normal. Perez, pick a size for all female celebrities, please. The back-and-forth….too thin, too fat, just right. If you could provide us all with the standard measurements you expect, it would help us out tremendously. Perhaps you could provide a diet plan for everyone in Hollywood to follow…bumps on Mondays, bulimia on Tuesdays, etc. Is that how you lost weight?
How come you love Beth Ditto, but Kelly Clarkson puts on a few and you are all over her. You can't have it both ways, plus the camera adds 10 lbs, so she is probablly a normal weight.

It's so funny how being skinny is apparently so unattainable and traumatizing, that there is this huge backlash of embracing being overweight and trying to normalize it. What a joke. Seriously, I can't believe how many people are crying into their Dunkin Donuts right now, insisting that this cow looks to be a good weight. Kelly is very talented, and doesn't need to rely on morons approval of her weight to make her successful. Jealousy is a green eye'd monster. All the skinny people are mad because they are thin (and hungry) and STILL unsuccessful. I am glad my daughters have a good example of a confident woman with some meat on her bones, who sings 100 times better than the skinny bitches who need their voice run through tons of filters just to make it somewhat bearable.

Perez, I think this is the smartest thing you have ever said. People in the real world do not look like Hollywood skinny bitches. Good for her for not trying to be fake like everyone else you surround yourself with.
Kelly is a beautiful girl no matter what she weighs. More important? She's very talented which will get you a lot farther later down the road when looks no longer exist which will be a sad reality for the starlets that rely on their looks now they'll be sh*t for luck years later unless they become some legendary sex symbol, but even still…it will all be in the past.
Kelly looks normal, everyone even CELEBRITIES have weight that will go up and down sadly theirs is in the public eye where they will get ridiculed because it's such a shallow industry. Keep rockin your curves girl, we need more *real* girls like you in the media. Perhaps, body image especially those of women won't be so distorted. It's about damn time we see someone who isn't freakin underweight.
P.S. to say she's overweight and that's not normal..well being underweight has just as many dangers as being overweight and in hollyweird sadly underweight for them is the normal way and it ISN'T normal..it's unhealthy.

While this may be a "healthy" weight for her, I wouldn't call this "normal", well actually, maybe it is "normal" for most Americans, but may not be "healthy". She def looks overweight to me, but not obese. I don't think it's flattering on her and she'd be wise to put the brakes on it now or she will be crossing over into the unhealthy/obese range.
