It’s been about six months since John Travolta lost his young son, but the actor is still dealing with tremendous grief. So much so that he and his wife Kelly Preston were noticeably absent from the premiere of his new movie, The Taking of Pelham 123.
His co-star, Denzel Washington, was asked about his abscence and he explained John just isn’t ready for the spotlight.
“I talked to John (recently). Needless to say, he’s struggling. He’s struggling. More than talking to him, I listened to him, for about two or three hours. It’s going to take time. What can you say but just be there as a friend? He’s such a sweet, sweet person.”
So sad.
We really hope the entire Travolta family is finding ways to cope during this difficult time.
