Earl To Be Saved? Sitcom May Return To TV This Fall

Could My Name Is Earl really be returning to TV?

The Emmy-winning series was cancelled by NBC last month after four seasons, leaving it’s actors somewhat surprised.

Sources had speculated that maybe Fox or ABC would pick up the series, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Turns out the show might go to cable instead!

TBS is currently in early negotiations to pick up the show.

The network already has a deal to air syndicated reruns of the series.

The main question is whether or not they’ll order 13 new episodes.

But even if they do, will the cast members return? A show on TBS means tighter budgets and slimmer salaries.
