On where he wants to go musically:
I want to do something that has theatricality, a nod to the glam rockers that I love, but is also contemporary. It's not all going to be happy-go-lucky because I think it's important to explore other emotional parts of yourself as an artist, but there's a time and place for it. I would love to work with Madonna. I'm a big fan.
Lambert says he professed to loving her music and being intimidated by her, which gave the power-dynamic loving Madonna the perfect opportunity to show the budding “Idol” star how it’s done. “Oh, so love equals intimidation for you?” Madonna teased Lambert. Though she hadn’t watched the show and didn’t seem to know who he was, Lambert said the two talked astrology, specifically his moon sign, Aries.
“She said, ‘You don’t like anyone telling you what to do, do you?’ ” he recalled. “It’s so cool, because she gets it, you know?”

This is boring Perez. Could you talk about someone else? The whole world knows what he is and nobody cares about his sexual preference, only his talent. I love Adam. He is very interesting and fascinating (+ super talented!), and I appriciate his honesty and openess. Not many people can speak like this, say what they feel like and still come across as nice and respectful persons. Adam can, he knows how to do interviews and get his message across. He knows who he is, what he wants and he knows that he has to work hard to get it.
He has so much potential, but he himself is aware of the fact that it could go either way with his album, either a big flop or huge sucess. He is realistic.
Ok, I can go on and on forever of how much I admire and love Adam, and this interview with RS was awesome in every way. Thank you Adam for being who you are. I can not wait to hear your album this fall and see you on tour!

One thing I really admire about Adam is his point that he wants people to see his talent, and his sexuality is *his* business and that the two are separate. To not be judged by his sexuality. Very commendable, indeed. However, I had a problem with one of his comments in the interview. Yes, he is proud of his sexuality, but from what I gather is that he doesn't want to draw any attention to it. Why then did he take such offense to the producer saying he acted too gay? Isn't that drawing attention to him being gay? By camping it up?
