I think it's great that a celebrity is coming out and making sense. It's true, there is a stigma in our society that if you don't procreate, something must be wrong with you. But there is not a more annoying noise in the world than a screaming whining child.
that just sounded dumb to say. If she wouldn't of added in "we dont need anymore kids" then i would of thought hmm good point. BUT she did say that which was an idiot thing to say
Ugh She is aging horribly. And I think it's the fact that she's so thin. She had some extra meat on her bones in The Mask and she was SO beautiful! I don't think I've ever seen her look as good since. If she gained a bit of weight she could fill out her wrinkles a bit better I think.

a lot of people have kids because they think it's what they are SUPPOSED to do. a lot of people think having children makes them more valuable as people and to society. this is simply untrue. some people have different callings in life and make a difference in the world in other ways. it is completely ignorant to call a person selfish for not wanting to have children. is Oprah selfish?

Seriously, MOST of the people who say "I don't want children b/c I like my freedom" do jack-shit with their "freedom". They go to bars, get shit-faced, sleep around & sleep half the day. That's what they're doing with their lives. That's what they don't want to give up.
I agree 100%. I proud to have had my tubes-tied without ever having been knocked up. Also, if people want to be "green" how about not adding another human to the planet that consumes, consumes, consumes?

It's more selfish to saddle the planet with yet one more unneeded human so self important people can add their DNA to the gene pool, than it is to just say no to spawning.
for me i want kids, but when i think properly, i would prefer to adopt, there are millions of babys with no parents, we can shape their future and give them a better life, so well she always adopt.

ok im 40 and i can honestly say ever since i remember i always said i didnt want kids even when i was playing with baby dolls and asked i would say no…and honestly now if i dont have them its ok…but my boyfriend wants one…so if time still permits i might still have one but either way i can go with or without…cammy should just shut up about the kid thing cause its not something u decide on ur own…its something u decide with ur like partner
