R-Patz Loving NYC - With Eva Mendes!

Robert Pattinson is making himself right at home in the Big Apple.
He's been seen out and about a lot recently, taking in all the big city has to offer.
Wednesday night, lucky New Yorkers caught a glimpse of the sexy vamp as he had dinner and drinks with pals Tom Sturridge, his Twilight mom Elizabeth Reaser and actress Eva Mendes.
What? Eva Mendes? What was she doing there?! Not trying to get her claws into R-Patz we hope?!!!
Thankfully, reports say that Eva was much more preoccupied with Tom while they spent the evening chatting at NYC's Bowery Bar.
The foursome enjoyed the rather mellow evening of pizza, beer, and the occasional smoke outside. Yucky! One onlooker at the bar overheard Rob teasing that having a British accent gets you points with American girls.
He has no idea how right he is! It also helps if you are the hottest male specimen to grace human vision (after Zac Efron, of course), but just a little.
Then, Eva made her exit around 1 a.m., giving everyone a "kiss and hug" goodbye, while the rest stayed another half hour before leaving. R-Patz thankfully avoided the paparazzi and was able to get into a cab without any hassle.
It's times like this that we wish NYC wasn't 3,000 miles away!
