Palin Keeps Yapping, Calls Letterman "Perverted"

Sarah Palin is sure milking this recent thrust into the damn liberal media for all it's worth. We were just getting used to not hearing from this dummy, and then this mess had to happen.
Palin is making the rounds to all the media outlets who want her to talk about the recent feud between herself and David Letterman. Even though David has apologized for any ill-will, Palin isn't accepting it and continues to rant on and on and on.
She will be appearing on CNN's The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer today, where she will tell ol' Wolfie that she thinks David's jokes were "you know, pretty perverted."
She continues to vent saying:
"But it goes beyond that. Not just that joke, but this insinuation that it's OK, it's acceptable to talk like that, and then that it's acceptable for the media to not provide the American public, the listeners, the readers, the full context of that joke. Letterman says, now, hey, I wasn't talking about her 14-year old. David, my 14-year-old was there with me at the game. She was the only one there with me. It wasn't my older daughter, who's in college and taking care of her young family. It was my 14-year-old."
We repeat: Get over it! Lighten up! And for goodness sake, go back to Alaska!

If he hadn't apologized I would say fine she's got the right, but he did apologize, publicly, on his show, he even offered for her to come to New York on his dime.
I'm sorry but Palin feeds into why some men don't want women in office. This image of a harping shrew who appears to be on her period 24/7 and never knows when to let go.
You had the high road there for a sec Palin but then you saw a chance for media attention and veered the ol' truck into a ditch.

The point is that Letterman is a late-night personality. He NEVER mentioned the name of the daughter. Palin forced her family into the spotlight when she was dragging them everywhere she went and putting them up onstage with her. Bristol has become a public figure because she began to tout abstinence on national television including media outlets. She made herself fair game and last time I checked 18 means ADULT. I do not believe Letterman meant the joke to be aimed at a 14-year-old. That's not his style. I say 'move on'. Letterman isn't going to let this go so Sarah has a long embarrassing ride. He jokes about EVERYTHING. I think it's pathetic that she's engaging in a duel with a comedian. Period.

Letterman has never been funny to me (but I am not white so that has a lot to do w/it) and this was one of those jokes. We all know that Elliot is a tad pervy and he made a joke about it. She seemed fine when Katie made her look like she had taken all remedial class in high school and college, she seemed okay with that. SP didn't even get this upset when they talked her and her kids on SNL—and that was way more harsh than Letterman's joke. They made he appear dumb and very Hill-Billish. They portrayed her and her husband as Trailer Trash and seemed to be okay with that.
But I guess when U R trying take over the world-I mean become VP, she dealt with it hoping it will get her votes.
Guess it didn't work and NOW she can spew all the anger she wants.

1. David Letterman is a comedian. He makes jokes (good or bad) for a living. If anyone thought he meant anyone other than Bristol (who was knocked up at one point in time), then they are stupid.
2. Sarah Palin used her children ad nauseum during her campaign for her own benefit.
3. Her daughter, Bristol, keeps giving interviews and putting herself out there and is now an adult.
4. The more this idiot Sarah Palin keeps talking, it just shows how stupid she is. She needs to get a thicker skin if she is in politics and if anyone thinks she won't use her kids again, then they would be terribly naive.
I think kids are off limits. If this has been said about Obama's child even before he was elected there would have been hell to pay. Letterman called women "slutty", who happen to have jobs as FLight Attendants, he made a joke about a 14 year old girl having sex with an adult man- but makes is sound OK that he thought he was making a joke about an 18 year old girl- like that is so much better.
