George W. Appears On Colbert Report
Filed under: TV News > Barack Obama > Stephen Colbert
Former commander-in-chief George W. Bush surprised troops with a pre-recorded message of support during a taping of the Colbert Report's USO tour in Iraq.
We can't believe he had the nerve to do it!
"Laura and I send our greetings to our servicemen and women. Your achievements in Iraq have earned you a special place in American history," said Bush. "You are men and women of great courage and endurance, and that's gonna come in handy. I've sat through some of Stephen's stuff before."
It's sad W. has to rely on schtick to address the troops!!!
"I've gotta say, I miss that guy," replied Colbert after the video message.
Supposedly, Bush's message garnered less applause than President Obama's shout-out last week.
Bush is the reason the troops are there!
Figures!!!

wtf???are you stupid?open your eyes….
speaking about the holocaust:this was really the only war in the american history which was a "good" war-thx for that-especially for the atom bomb on japan as a little sidekick-i think all people who were nothing or couldnt become somethin in europe went to america-so your our waste poeple dump
STUPI! ahhahahaha! They are THERE because they CHOSE to BE THERE by joining the MILITARY! DUH FOO!
Bush was a far better president than our current impostor-in-chief.
Re: imsoregistered – I don't give a crap about changes to benefits or why someone registered to be in the military. Like any JOB it changes. SO some have to stay longer than their enlisted date. That is not the only job this happens in. Quit pissing and moaning about what you have, don't have, want, don't want and suck it up like the rest of the those who go to work everyday where life just isn't fair. PS I LIKE GRAPE!
Your anti-Bush zealousness and verbal masturbation are tiring Mario.
Bush isn't my fav president either, but you take it a bit too far.
Yes. Bush IS the reason we're still in war. and in a financial crisis. And jobless. And hated. I wish Bush would be interviewed with Bill Maher. That'd be sweet!
