Travel & Leisure magazine has this exclusive photo in their October issue of actress Sherie Rene Scott backstage in her dressing room, speaking to director Francesca Zambello, while getting into her "Ursula" hair and make-up.
Looks pretty damn cool!

I saw her in Denver and after the first note, you won't even notice that she's not shaped like Ursula in the movie. Sherie Rene Scott is AMAZING. I've heard she's a nice lady, but she oozes evil and her voice is wonderful. She was the best thing about Little Mermaid and if it goes to NYC with her as Ursula, I'm thinking TONY!!!

I saw the play last week in Denver and she was AWESOME!!!! Also Sierra Boggess who played Ariel was perfect!
Saw it in Denver the first week it opened - and you know, she's so damned amazing they really ought to rename the show Ursula v. the Little Mermaid!
Seriously - she's incredible. Then again, so is *most* of the rest of the cast!

OK, the acrylic tower thingys were weird, but other than that, the scenary was cool and made me feel like I was watching life under the ocean. Using heelies to make it look like the cast is swimming was a sweet idea, too. Also, as much as I enjoyed Denver girl Sierra Boggess as Ariel, Ursula STOLE the show.
