Letterman Vs Palin Continues: Dave Loses An Advertiser!

This is getting kind of old now. But some people just don't know how to quit.
Because of David Letterman's comments last week about Sarah Palin and her daughter, CBS will be losing an advertiser, though not an advertiser that aired during Letterman.
Embassy Suites, part of the Hilton Hotels Corp., pulled advertising on from the entire CBS site because of patron complaints. Must be a lot of Embassy Igloos Suites in Alaska.
A rep for the company stated:
"We received lots of e-mails from concerned guests and we assessed that the statement that he made was offensive enough to our guests and prospective guests that we elected to take the ads down."
Oh please!
And it goes on as there is actually a group organized to have Letterman fired. They call themselves the "Fire David Letterman" campaign.

And to your people that claim you wouldn't be staying at Embassy suites.. you may have thought differently if he was talking about your daughter, or your mother, etc.. Don't act like you wouldn't. Cause you'd be lying your ass off. Since it involves someone that isn't you, or better yet, someone that a lot of you don't like, you act the exact opposite. But why is she an idiot? She has not anything that any thing different than any other politician. SNL was showing that she does have a sense of humor, but the Letterman show was a bit much, not only the daughter joke, but also the top 10. It was a bit much. I am more upset about how a segment of society thinks it is ok to verbal degrade another segment of society based on the differences of their beliefs and feel good about themselves when they do it. All the time calling it political correct progressive thinking, even though it is the exact opposite. I was once a very liberal person, and in many ways I still am, but when the governemnt started to take my beliefs and distort them in order to gain more control in my life, I had to reevaluate my beliefs and the role of government in my. This is when I began to think more conservatively. I believe Palin represents the role I believe government should play in my life and this is why I think she deserves a bit of respect from people in general and especially woman. I am pro choice and I believe that abortion will never become illegal becasue there are too many people who support pro choice and for now we still live in a democracy and not a monarchy. Checks and balances exist for this reason!

Can't you keep Sarah Palin? I don't like her much. She came to my school last year, and I had to get out as fast as possible because if I saw her, I probably would have punched her in the face.
