Letterman Apologizes AGAIN!!!!

During the taping of Monday's Late Show, host David Letterman gave another public apology regarding the joke he made last week about Sarah Palin's trip to NYC and her 14-year-old daughter, Willow, that was actually meant for teenage mama, now 18-year-old Bristol Pailn.
The funny man stated:
"I told a bad joke. I told a joke that was beyond flawed, and my intent is completely meaningless compared to the perception. It's not your fault that it was misunderstood, it's my fault. So I would like to apologize, especially to the two daughters involved, Bristol and Willow, and also to the governor and her family and everybody else who was outraged by the joke. I'm sorry about it and I'll try to do better in the future. Thank you very much."
Since the failed Vice Presidential candidate wouldn't let this misunderstanding go, Letterman was practically bullied into an apology.
The Palin's need to get over it!!!!!

I left the internet address for a web site that is dedicated to, 'fire david letterman" in everyone of my comments today (several dozen) but perez (little "p") had them deleted. I guess he's afraid there will be too much support for getting rid of another of his heroes! Anyway, if he has the courtesy to print this comment you can figure out the address by searching google.

Even if I don't like Palin, I agree with her. Joking about either one of her daughters being raped is totally spiteful and gross. I think anyone who had daughters would react the same way she did.
I just read somewhere else that even Letterman's mom sided with Palin. Even she knew the joke was tasteless. Glad he sent out a humble apology.
Doesn't narrow minded crappy little Sarah have better things to attend to than THIS? Sheesh! And that free loading killer husband of hers-well, he makes me throw up at just the mention of him. Most of us KNEW who Dave was referring to-Bristol, not the younger daughter and yet the Palins went into spin mode to suggest otherwise. Nobody in that entire clan has the decency of David Letterman in life. They are slugs and if Sarah paid half as much attention to who her 16 year old daughter was fucking, Alaska would have something. I feel sorrow for that state. My God, I'd oust her. Do you all understand who authors this blog? It's his and his to post what he wishes. Gay marriage is important to him and to me and I am 57 and been married to a male for almost 40 years. Try tolerance and not inflicting your tiny little narrow minded lifestyle on someone else AND….I will also say you all have all of your rights so fuck the rest huh. NO. Not good enough. Try thinking of others for a change. All Americans deserve and will get equal rights under that law. I will stand beside them to see to it.
