Cher's daughter, Chastity Bono, is one big girl. But not for long!
Bono, who will soon turn into Chaz Bono officially, was spotted on Monday heading to the gym in Los Angeles.
Chaz can "legally" become a man via surgery, but he's got to lose some of the weight first!
According to reports, sources close to Chaz say he'll have to lose a lot of weight in order to proceed with the surgery. It'd be too much of a health risk otherwise.
And he seems determined.
Looks like he'll be spending a lot of time at the gym.

I'm post op transgendered famale. I did not ask to be transgendered.
The majority here with the trashy, kick to the head, attitude about human sexuality… are the ones who need psychoanalysis. People who are transgendered are different from the norm. So what. We are people with real feelings. The jury is out on why some people are messed up about their own gender. However… instead of instinctively harassing transgendered people because you are ignorant and fear this difference that seems strange to you…
Maybe…just maybe…you should do some research on natural birth anomolies.

You rock Chaz… You can now be yourself. You will now find out who is worth your time… and who is a fairweather friend. Its a very tough road but the alternative lie and resulting unhappiness is SO worth turning your back on.
The fact that transsexuality is a naturally occuring and relatively rare phenomina needs to be taught at an age. The level of ignorance and hatered shown on the comments here is staggering…and very sad. It is NOT ok to adopt transgendered people as the new punching bag of society ! HELLO ! Humans have rights… all humans.

Gender and sexual preference are seperate issues… but chances are if HE prefered one gender before the change; surgery and male hormones is not going change that preference. Sexual orientation in transgenderdered people is no different than orientation in the so called "normal" population. There are straight people, gay people and bisexual people in the trans population.
As for defining normal. Everyones "normal" is different.
