This guy is going to go down in ruins, an old ignorant man, I also would like to say to the person who said that they lived "the gay lifestyle" and didnt like it, You obviously were with the wrong crowd, I have a bunch of gay friends, I'm single and its not all about the sex. Do we really understand them and their consequences? So for us to think we can challenge the natural laws and beat them is the ultimate in egotistical ignorance.

I am a proud Canadian that has grown up feeling safe and secure in the fact that not only in Canada great but we also have a great neighbor, the United States. Lately, this feeling has changed regarding the States. America you truly scare me. Having freedom of speech is one thing but having someone on one of your national news stations that spews hate should be banned from t.v.

You know, as un politically correct as Pat Robertson sounds, historically he is correct with his statement. Homosexuality played a definite part in the fall and in breaking down societies and empires. I do have to add one thing though… several elements … factors … contributed to the fall of empires beyond homosexuality running rampant. It is ignorant to believe there is one simple answer to something as highly complex as the fall of a nation or an empire.
On another note .. I have friends who are gay.. I live in a gay neighborhood… but always still think to myself… it would really suck to be gay… to be born genetically or psychologically defective so that you are not sexually driven or attracted to the opposite sex and therefore you do not reproduce and carry on your dna or your lineage.
Another thought is that if homosexuality is genetic, that maybe after 100's or thousands of years of human breeding … The Darwin Theory will eventually apply .. and Gay people will no longer exist due to lack of breeding and not passing on DNA to future generations. Survival of those who breed. Just a thought.

Religion in general has been on a rapid decline. Church participation has dropped off and much of this is due to the hatred found in the hard core fundamentalist lack of tolerance. Not all religion is like this though and there are many faiths that are accepting of the vast differences in the population, but people are rejecting this hatred in droves when bigotry is mixed into the message. I do not regard Robertson as a person of a faith, but a dangerous man filled with hate and fear. If fools like him were allowed to run around loose, we would have a society much worse than what is seen in the extremist Middle East ruled areas. I find him to be a vile, evil little troll filled with fear and hatred and I will celebrate with great happiness when I hear of his death in the same way I will celebrate when bin Laden is confirmed dead!
