According to Katie Lee, age is not just a number!!!!!
It’s a deal breaker!
The chef decided to end her marriage with husband, Billy Joel because of the age difference!!
He is 33 years her senior!!!!
“She loves the city, she loves to go out and have fun and he prefers to stay at home,” said a source about 27-year-old Katie and 60-year-old Billy. “The age difference didn’t seem to be a big deal seven years ago [when they met], but it has become one as they got older. They just grew apart.”
When Joel isn’t on the road touring, he enjoys playing with his antique motorcycle collection and sailing yachts at home on Long Island.
That probably gets old pretty quick!
“It had nothing to do with it [the separation]. There wasn’t some dramatic thing that happened. There was no blow-up or fight,” said the source responding to allegations that Joel had grown furious at the amount of time his wife was spent with designer Yigal Azrouel.
Since the couple has a pre-nuptial agreement, Katie will not get large take home prize but will most likely end up with couple’s Greenwich Village townhouse, which was purchased for $5.9 million.
Not too shabby!!!!
They are just in different stages of their lives!!
Katie has everything ahead of her and Billy is almost a senior citizen!!!
We didn’t even think it would last this long!!!!
