So the two companies have joined forces in a two-year deal to produce and create a series of hourlong specials for TV.

A minimum of six specials are set to air with two episodes premiering before the end of the year. Those include Maxim’s Hottest Moments 2009 and Maxim’s Celebrity Beach Watch.

Two other specials will include a type of “Maxim Does…” episode, which is set to focus on parties and traveling.

Seems sort of like watching soft-core porn on TV, just rated PG-13. Maybe E!’s trying to gain a large male audience.
