As per usual, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter look a little more freakier than necessary. But Anne Hathaway is a vision in white!

I mean certainly it's not bad, but if I'm seeing all the same actors in the same roles looking all like Edward Scissor hands and Willy Wonka, then what's the point?
I LOVE love love LOVE Alice in Wonderland and I equally love the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory but Burton's remake was not so hot. I hope this one is better.

Now this should be so very interesting. I was set to hate his version of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and I actually really liked it(except the OompaLoompas). If anyone can capture the madness of Alice in Wonderland then Tim Burton is the one.

I am a huge fan of Tim Burton, Johhny Depp, Helena & Alice In Wonderland. The pictures are great. I love the colors and how they enlarge the red queens head to show her ego. I cant wait March 2010!
Ps. I don't think movie is for the babies. Knowing Tim Burton is will have dark parts.

Why does Burton always put his wives in his movies? They're in his movies more often than Johnny Depp is.
That's because they enlarged Helena's head, though I have no idea why….Anne looks beautiful, and Depp is just so obviously Burton. I might actually like this version of Alice in Wonderland.

I am so unbelievabley stoked for this. Love Tim Burton, Helena Bonham Carter, Johnny Depp, EVERYONE. And Alive in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass are my ultimate favorite works of literature. Apparently the scoop is that Alice is returning to wonderland (which she does not remember) 10 years after the events of Through the Looking Glass.
Re: kitteh hates perez. – American McGee's was ultra creepy, which is a completely different (albeit fantastic) interpretation of the story. With Lewis Carol she is a naive six year old with a big heart and a big imagination. Creative license is going to be taken in any version besides the books, even the Disney movie fell way short.

Can't wait to see this film - these pictures just look amazing! Helena Bonham-Carter is a stunning woman who just morphs into her characters - a very underrated actress! Ann Hathaway just looks georgeous - even in a wig! Hopefully there will be many more films from Tim Burton - great imagination.

From what I can see of them, I think the costumes are fabulous! I love the make up except they should have done Anne Hathaway's eyebrows white too, or at least platinum blonde. Also I would've done a darker or more intense blue on Helena's eyes. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I have to say, as a GIANT Alice fanatic, and admirer of all of Tim Burton's work, I am truly looking forward to this movie. Johnny Depp has the skill to pull of the Hatter perfectly, and Helena played the lovely Mrs. Lovett in Sweeny Todd, so "Off with their heads" shouldn't be too hard for her. As for Anne Hathaway, she can probably pull off the innocent, dreaming Alice as she needs to be portrayed. Tim Burton will give the film the right feel, if it's done in his usual style. The book itself is a bit dark, and creepy. Tim should have no problem pulling that off. So. Effing. Excited.
